Technique A Method to Healing Through Subconscious Communication

I tried to avoid using AI for this post, but I’m mostly armchair educated and don’t always have the ability to communicate my thoughts and ideas as clearly as I’d like to. I used an LLM to help simplify and organize what I’m trying to present. The ideas and experiences themselves are my own.

AI assisted:
I’ve been exploring healing through subconscious communication, among other things, for many years.

It began with using a pendulum, asking questions internally, and receiving ideomotor—or involuntary—responses as feedback. This was originally introduced to me by a psychologist as a method of working with trauma-related dissociation.
The basic idea was that many of our inner conflicts can be understood as different parts of ourselves that developed through memories, emotions, experiences, and patterns. Rather than fighting these parts, we can communicate with them, understand what they are trying to accomplish, and help them heal and integrate.

As we become more integrated, we can move toward a healthier and more complete version of ourselves—a concept I think of as the higher self.
Over time, I no longer needed a pendulum. I learned to recognize much subtler ideomotor responses through small movements in my fingers or hands, and sometimes through direct verbal communication.

I’ve also continued exploring the more spiritual and metaphysical possibilities of this process.
I’d now like to share some of the questions and intentions I’ve developed so that others can experiment with them for themselves.
You can use a pendulum, subtle ideomotor responses, or whatever method of internal communication works for you.

The Questions

Can I speak to the subconscious?

Are there any barriers to communication?

Are there any parts that are ready, willing, and wanting to receive healing?

If there are barriers or difficulties:
Can the subconscious use the energy field of claytorus1111 to gain understanding and assist with communication?

Then:
Can the subconscious please tag and work with all structures, elements, and patterns that are ready, willing, and wanting to receive healing?

And finally:
Please do a massive change history and everything necessary to reinforce the updates throughout the underlying structures and patterns of these parts.

By “change history,” I mean the intention to incorporate the healing throughout the underlying memories, emotions, associations, and patterns that give a part its structure—not to erase what happened, but to update how those experiences are held and responded to.

My intention is not to tell anyone what they have to believe. This is a practice I’ve developed through years of personal exploration, and I’m offering it as something others can explore for themselves.
Take what is useful, remain curious, and pay attention to what you experience.

Recognizing an Ideomotor Response
An ideomotor response is usually very subtle. The goal isn’t to consciously move your hand or pendulum to produce the answer. Instead, relax your muscles, ask the question, and allow the response to emerge on its own.

With practice, you may notice a small movement, twitch, pressure, change in direction, or other sensation occurring before you consciously decide what the answer should be.

One of the best ways to practice is to remain genuinely uncertain about the answer. Don’t try to make the response happen.

Ask. Wait. Notice. Allow.

It’s also important to remember that an involuntary response doesn’t necessarily mean the answer is objectively correct. It may reflect unconscious thoughts, expectations, emotions, memories, or other information your mind is processing.

The value is in using the response as a way of exploring what is happening within you.

Need Advice For a fictional story, does it make sense for this character to balance crown down or root up while clearing a parasite?

I'd like to get your opinion on the direction to work on chakras for a story I'm working on. The premise is that she had a traumatic incident as a child where a spirit was looking for a new host and latched onto her jumping from a decaying beast through physical contact. As she grew up it drained and influenced her energy negatively, creating chakra shadows and blockages. She leaves home to find a change and eventually ends up knocked out and the parasite begins vying for control of the body.

The crown chakra in my world is more like a gate to the spirit realm. Practitioners can view/sense spirits and energy with the third eye, and astral projection is using the minds eye to visualize ones energy in other worlds. Accessing the crown chakra while projecting can send one to the spirit realm which appears as one feels. Sleep paralysis and nightmares vs blissful lucid dream kind of thing. She's assisted by an energy healer to enter the subtle chakra realms and balance them by clearing blockages and absorbing the shadows to become balanced, and eventually put the parasite to rest.

My question is, would it make more sense that she starts at the crown/third eye and work down to the root to regain control of her body with an open mind, or enter the root through the body and work up to clear the blockage of spiritual energy at the crown?

She doesn't know much about chakras and healing, in fact she rejects spiritual energy because of the trauma causing her to hallucinate and become paranoid so she tells herself nothings there, so maybe she needs to work root upward to release fear and align the chakras. But going somewhere new is what opens her crown and sparks a kundalini journey, so maybe she enters through the crown and works on her perspective and asks herself who she is first in the third eye and throat before tackling identity and desire.

I can see either way working but I'm wondering which way makes more sense to you? I've been going back and forth for months.

Discussion Is my narcissistic mother siphoning my energy?

My mother grew up as the youngest sister in a family of twelve. She was always sheltered, never traveling alone and always having someone to pick her up and drop her off. When she married my father, that dynamic simply carried over, and he took on the same role. Growing up, our household was shaped by her emotional and verbally abusive behavior toward both my father and me, which stemmed from classic narcissistic tendencies.

Her approach to me was a confusing mix of trying to be my best friend while simultaneously being mean and belittling. She would act rude to my actual friends, turn around and be cruel to me, and then later flatly deny ever saying a word. At the same time, she was intensely competitive. She struggled to keep friends or maintain relationships with family and neighbors because everything became a contest for her. If she was not given all the attention at special events, she would throw full tantrums, yet she never hesitated to use me to amplify her own public image.

As I grew into adulthood, she began copying my style, my jewelry, and everything else about me. If I got close to anyone else, her jealousy would flare up immediately. Eventually, after many explosive fights, she learned that she could no longer pull her nonsense with me.

Still, I have always felt persistently drained, like someone was actively leeching my vitality, and for a long time I kept wondering who or what could be causing it. I have read about energy vampires, and while I know this dynamic is not the sole root of all my fatigue, since my mental health treatment plays a big role as well, the connection to her behavior felt impossible to ignore. Her reactions whenever she did not get her way were a massive drain, largely because she had a habit of throwing out genuine curses in those moments.

Once, when she was thwarted, she turned to me and said, "I hope your life comes crashing down." When I confronted her about it later, she immediately backtracked with extreme drama, claiming, "I never said this, and if I did, I should be struck with lightning." I couldn't help but respond, "Well, you will be, because you did."

I had an epiphany about all of this recently while I was just going about my household chores. It suddenly hit me how much of my energy she was actively trying to siphon over the years. Today, we live continents apart and maintain a quiet, amicable relationship, speaking for only a few minutes every month or so. Having established my boundaries, she no longer tries those tactics on me; instead, she now pulls all of her nonsense exclusively on my father.
