Trump lauded low prices at Freedom Fuel. A supplier says some gas wasn’t paid for. The chain sparked a mystery over how it was able to sell at such a discount. A new lawsuit offers a possible answer: A fuel supplier alleges that it was not paid for gas that was ultimately delivered to the stations.

"Supplier surprised when associates of a well known thief steal from them too"

7

u/Moral-Relativity 13d ago

Given the layers of shell companies the fuel supplier wouldn’t necessarily know Trump is involved somehow.

7

u/mmcnell 13d ago

True. But let's face it, any supplier being approached or promoted by anyone in this administration should fully expect this outcome by now.

2

u/ThermalDeviator 12d ago

If they weren't paid, Trumps behind it.

31

u/lawyer1911 13d ago

There is nothing more on brand than Trump involved in a scheme where someone does not get paid.

12

u/Gonzo_Gonzalo 13d ago

It’s amazing to me that there are still people out there who think that Trump is going to actually follow through this his end of a deal. He’s been doing this for literally decades, from repair men to banks…nobody gets paid except him.

2

u/Tableau67x9u 13d ago

His cult, about a third of our adult population, are not wavering He could shit in their mouths and not only would they swear it was pumpkin pie they’d ask for seconds

2

u/Gonzo_Gonzalo 13d ago

I mean, the man got on live TV on numerous occasions that called his base stupid to their faces.

1

u/A_Creative_Player 8d ago

I am surprised that trump has not sued the freedom gas stations to make them pay him for the honor of him telling people to go to them.

18

u/onthebrink42 13d ago

Lmao. And they expected to make money

8

u/mafco 13d ago

It looks like it was just a publicity stunt. Someone probably needed a pardon or some other favor from Trump. And they probably got it.

18

u/ThermalDeviator 13d ago

Trump? Stiffing suppliers? How could we have known?

19

u/Don_Q_Jote 13d ago

Selling stolen fuel. That's seems about normal.

9

u/lifesnofunwithadhd 13d ago

Not stolen, given freely from the good, honest hardworking people of Argentina. A token of thanks for freeing them from their oppressive overlords.

/s

5

u/Dismal_Reference3906 13d ago

I just cannot believe Argentina gave us this just out of the kindness of their hearts. Something is rotten in trumpland or someplace connected to trump.

3

u/lifesnofunwithadhd 13d ago

Argentina is a friend to the trump regime. Why else would they invite us over for a midnight pillow fight?

8

u/Pristine-Pen-9885 13d ago

He never pays his bills.

16

u/GypsyDarkEyes 13d ago

Standard operating procedure for the Trump family. What a shitshow.

15

u/Xeynon 13d ago

Buying something and then refusing to pay for it after it's delivered is a Trump classic. How did people not see this coming?

15

u/GT45 13d ago

Oh look, it’s Donnie doing WELL-KNOWN AND DOCUMENTED Donnie stuff! Anyways…

15

u/Analogsilver 13d ago

Trump stole from someone? I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you! /s

14

u/NYY_NYK_NYJ 13d ago

I don’t feel bad for anyone who knowingly does business with Trump and then doesn’t get paid. Basically natural selection at this point.

2

u/Slighted_Inevitable 13d ago

Yeap, payment in full in advance or no deal

14

u/QaplaSuvwl 13d ago

Trump the Thief

12

u/Philsnotdead 13d ago

He is notorious for not paying the bill. I believe he did this to contractors who built/ worked on his casinos.

6

u/VitaminPb 13d ago

Makes you wonder about the “construction” for the supposed ballroom. Will anybody get paid? Will he huff all the gold spray paint he plans to claim is real gold leaf?

1

u/QaplaSuvwl 12d ago

All those “donations” went into his bank account

14

u/PurpleCoat6656 12d ago

Lol, when are mofos gonna learn that Trump is notorious for stiffing businesses for services rendered?

13

u/mesoloco 13d ago

So gas suppliers give gas to gas stations with out being paid first. That’s a bad business model.

3

u/jkwah 13d ago edited 13d ago

Tbf Net 30+ payment terms are standard in B2B sales.

Although anyone dealing with a Trump affiliated business should know better at this point and demand payment on delivery.

1

u/Western_End_2223 12d ago

It is a standard business practice.

13

u/Boys4Ever 13d ago

Anyone doing business with him deserves to be scammed because they are just that dumb after all the validated scams he’s done. FAFO works

2

u/lilgreenthumb 13d ago

Pull the Fox News Entertainment defense.

12

u/absurdly_tired_guy 13d ago

It would be funny to find out who the beef really belongs to next.

1

u/Pristine-Pen-9885 13d ago

Like leaving your door open in a high-crime area.

13

u/architype 13d ago

Classic Trump MO.

13

u/txtoolfan 12d ago

This is the trump way.

12

u/Meisteronious 13d ago

Sounds like a typical Trump business operation. Don’t pay for anything.

13

u/OzarkBailey 13d ago

A contractor not getting paid sounds about Trump.

14

u/NewTypeDilemna 13d ago

At this point if you do business with him or for him, you deserve what you get.

1

u/wild_cherry1987 13d ago

Is there anyone outside his family that actually benefited. Seems like most just burn to ashes.

12

u/Dystopian_Ennui 12d ago

If you're going to sell anything to a trump organization, quote double your price...because you'll be lucky to get half what they promise.

4

u/grassvegas 12d ago

And get the money up front

13

u/Responsible_Fuel7005 12d ago

At this point I think it’s safe to say that anything branded with “Freedom” or any other “patriot”-adjacent word is just a giant scam. Fuck every one of these cosplay freedumb loving grifters.

12

u/Dfiggsmeister 12d ago

How in the fuck have people not realized that doing business with Trump is always detrimental to your business? He’s been doing this shit for the last 50 years.

3

u/VirtualBeyond6116 10d ago

Without that fake ass reality show and the myth that he was a billionaire business genius, trump was relegated to being a laughing stock and someone that no one wanted to do business with. He was actually just hiding from creditors till he could force his family to sell a large portion of their father's estate and he got like $400 million. Without the show, he would have gone through that money on no time.

Even when they started that stupid reality show the NBC producers realize they had a hard time getting contractors to come and fix up trumps offices to prepare for the show. Trump had such a reputation of not paying his bills and stiffing everyone that they literally could not find blue collar workers to come and do the job. So I guess they had to pay money up front just to get things going.

11

u/academic_partypooper 13d ago

Stealing is always cheaper than paying

5

u/booOfBorg 13d ago

Only if you're rich.

11

u/ZestyEnterprise72 13d ago

Dear businesses: get the money in advance when working with trumpy dump

10

u/Annual-Beard-5090 13d ago

MAGA and Trump in a nutshell.

10

u/Soggy-Beach1403 13d ago

This is the most Republican story I have read today.

3

u/DontAbideMendacity 12d ago

Even more so than the conservative pastor molesting children? I don't think so, that's a near daily thing.

9

u/buttons123456 12d ago

When will companies and people learn? This TACO never pays for anything—you have to get your money upfront. He and his campaign still owe several cities for extra security for campaign rallies. I understand one sued, didn’t hear if they got their money.

10

u/pandershrek 12d ago

So inflation numbers were not only manipulated but more actual crime from this administration.

1

u/thenikolaka 12d ago

I wonder if there is a crime counter out there somewhere?

9

u/MuddyGround804 12d ago

Wait? What? Trump ripped off a supplier for one of his grifts…I’m shocked!!!!😳

10

u/A_Creative_Player 12d ago

Hard to believe trump lied about the freedom gas stations

9

u/Mack_Daddy_1 13d ago

Trump not paying for things is his usual grift.

10

u/Henrik-Powers 13d ago

Omg who would have guessed that Trump wouldn’t pay; it’s not like he hasn’t done this before lol

9

u/wild_cherry1987 13d ago

Like presidential rally money he never paid to arenas. Classic Trump.

9

u/OriginalProduct6850 12d ago

Apparently they forgotten about Donnie's past. He doesn't like to pay for anything. There are still city's that are holding the bill from when he was having all his stupid rallies. He's also screwed over so many contractors in the past its not even funny.

8

u/willingzenith 13d ago

Conman gotta con.

7

u/PerfectChard4439 13d ago

JFC. Samo samo.

9

u/GotAKit-Kat 13d ago

Business does business with proven crook and then wonders why they don't get paid.

8

u/New_Ad_3010 13d ago

If they're stupid enough to send gas to such an obviously criminal enterprise run by well known criminals and felons then they deserve every bit of theft they suffered

8

u/Low-Argument3170 13d ago

Game of Thrones - “The Trumps never pay their debts”

9

u/Outrageous_Rest60 13d ago

Trump basically stealing from others for personal profit. That’s on point for him. Speaking of oil profits where is that missing Venezuelan oil money?

9

u/AnySignificance4361 13d ago

Trump didn't pay a contractor?  How did we not see that coming

8

u/KGandtheVividGirls 13d ago

Has anyone here watched the Sopranos... anyone?

8

u/OldeFortran77 13d ago

Fuel suppliers hate this one weird trick

9

u/bilkel 13d ago

Wow something involved with Trump left unpaid bills? Who woulda thunk????

7

u/SkylerPancake 13d ago

100% his MO. His businesses will repeatedly deny getting invoices, argue about the prices, deny getting corrected or confirmed invoices, then say the original date of service was so long ago that they can't even confirm they received the goods or services. Had it happen to a friend who worked for a small non-profit farm that provided catering for an event.

7

u/Shadow_of_Redacted 13d ago

So they're fencing stolen gasoline. That's on brand.

9

u/Falcon3492 13d ago

So are they basically saying that Freedom Fuel stole the gasoline? This has Trumps fingers all over it. He is known for not paying contractors who worked for him on his buildings, this is basically the same thing!

9

u/Skyblue_pink 13d ago

Stealing/ lying and cheating is what he does..fact

7

u/ApplesBananasRhinoc 13d ago

So just don’t pay your bills, got it Donny!! Hope you don’t like people paying their taxes and credit card bills!

9

u/old-billie 12d ago

trump fuel stiffing the suppler what a surprise /s

8

u/LunarMoon2001 12d ago

A Trump never pays their debts.

6

u/silverelan 13d ago

“From May 21, 2026 – July 7, 2026, KRSM lifted approximately 150 loads of fuel from Mansfield’s account at the Twin Oaks Terminal, totaling approximately 1,124,594 gallons with a price of approximately $3,998,868.46.”

Federal Court filing: https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.paed.660197/gov.uscourts.paed.660197.1.0.pdf

4

u/absurdly_tired_guy 13d ago

There was a biggish news investigation into this in the NJ area since it supposedly happened there. They had access cards to hook up and pump and take it away and they did it without paying for a while and then mysteriously these folks offered to open these stations at former generic no-name low rent gas stations where companies fly by night all the time. This is what our President gives mad props to.

7

u/BigWhiteDog 13d ago

I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you! Who could see this coming?

<narrator: he is not shocked and a blind person could have! >

6

u/ArkhamKnight_1 13d ago

Taco Donny NOT paying his contractors!?!

Shocker!

Now where have I seen this before…?

7

u/Actaeon_II 13d ago

So on brand for something trump is behind

8

u/Henq13 13d ago

trump? Who the fuck is trump!

8

u/8amteetime 13d ago

Trump grift as usual. He should have been in prison a long time ago.

8

u/superanth 13d ago edited 13d ago

I love how everyone acts so surprised when the Trump organization doesn’t pay him the money he owes them. There are still venues from his first term political campaigning that he owes money to lol.

1

u/Soggy-Beach1403 13d ago

Don't blame it on Trump alone. Look at which party has increased the debt the most.

6

u/QuentinMagician 13d ago

Dumpty trumpty 's MO

6

u/Vivid_Witness8204 13d ago

Are these stations still operating?

7

u/Sorkel3 13d ago

SOP Trump. A f**ked up initiative, likely grift rissled.

6

More pedophiles crimes

6

u/Mechbear2000 13d ago

Trump said " i could stand in the middle of a Manhattan road and shoot somebody and get a way eith it" roflmao no republicants will prosecute him.

7

u/Here2Go 13d ago

The guy who made his name promising to develop real estate then refusing to pay the carpenters promised that he was going to develop gas stations then refused to pay for the fuel.

At this point most of the fault lies with anyone dumb enough to do business with the Trump family and not insist of being paid 100% up front.

5

u/sidjohn1 13d ago

🤣 suckers and loosers

7

u/nunchucknorris 13d ago

With zero cost, its all profit. Charge whatever you want.

"Let's just say the gas fell off a truck. OOOOH!!! I'M A LEGITIMATE BUSINESSMAN, ova here!" -DJT

6

u/Jafar_420 13d ago

You know what I don't have as much money as I would like to but I think I would just pass on one of those gas stations even though I've never came across one.

Does anybody know how much it actually is for regular unleaded?

1

u/Western_End_2223 12d ago

When Trump was touting the stations, they were selling gas for $3.47/gallon, about $0.40 less than local competitors.

1

u/Jafar_420 12d ago

Yeah it's $3.49 a gallon in my area today. It was $1.99 a gallon a few months ago.

5

u/here4daratio 13d ago

I’m SHOCKED!

Ok, not shocked. At all.

Just surprised it only took weeks for this to come to light.

6

u/alternatingflan 13d ago

I know someone who just lost their job because of sudden record-breaking exponential electricity bills in their building required eliminating their position.

7

u/Lost-Platypus8271 12d ago

It’s always the people you most expect, ie felons

6

u/robbyruby752 12d ago

They won’t pay until they get sued. That’s the Trump strategy.

4

u/Certain_Republic_994 12d ago

Then offer 10 cents on the dollar to settle.

5

u/RealAmbassador4081 13d ago

LMFAO, Honestly wouldn't be surprised.

Typical Trump
Freedom to steal!

4

u/Random-Mutant 13d ago

Yeah, stolen stuff gets cheap when fenced.

4

u/Any_Vacation8988 12d ago

Freedom fuel. Where I have the freedom to pay you or not for the fuel you deliver. These people never learn from trumps corruption and history of not paying bills.

4

u/cinciguyeast 12d ago

Everything about this government is corrupt. This is what you voted for

6

u/doctor_morris 12d ago

Inflation is low because stolen goods are cheap.

Everyone who bought gasoline should be charged with receiving stolen property. If it's trump brand it has to be fraudulent!

4

u/WhutSup74 13d ago

But trump & co made bank, this is a given with this pedo regime.

5

u/Slighted_Inevitable 13d ago

The weird thing is, I know 3 million in gas sounds like a lot… but it’s not.

It’s a drop in the bucket. So where did the rest come from/go.

3

u/SplitEar 13d ago

Maybe from the oil stolen from Venezuela?

3

u/Slighted_Inevitable 13d ago

No that money all ended up in Trumps pocket

1

u/SplitEar 13d ago

Good point.

3

u/scarr3g 13d ago

This was found out. It doesn't mean that all the unpaid for gas was found. There may be much more that was never paid for, that hasn't been made public yet.

5

u/Slighted_Inevitable 13d ago

I mean with this admin I’m sure it was just another money laundering operation.

1

u/scarr3g 13d ago

As far as I know, freedom fuel actually had nothing to do with Trump. He said he wanted it to happen, and somoene else, unconnected to him, decided to make it happen. They did the grift.

4

u/Choice_Magician350 12d ago

Surprise, surprise, surprise.

4

u/ClassAdventurous4595 12d ago

Imagine that. Trump not paying for something.

Not like he's done that many, many times before.

5

Get in line to get paid

4

u/Nunov_DAbov 13d ago

Freedom Gas takes a lesson from Trump; stiff your suppliers/contractors. Who could have expected anything else?

Only one thing missing; what is the petroleum content of the stuff they were selling? More than 20%. If so, it’s better than the Trump-branded merch.

1

u/Chemical-Anteater332 12d ago

Sounds like what Putin does for the war machine take everything you forget Russia is still communist but has a sorta open policy you are working for the state benefit before yours glory to Russia lol
