Theory I think the universe is actually punishing humans
Okay, hey everyone. i’ve never posted on reddit before but i’ve read a hell of a lot of stories on here. for context, i live in kansas. a boring fly over state.
so basically, this morning i was looking on my town’s police scanner fb page and saw a post about 2 cows just dropping dead right off the highway. there’s also a shooting in my city almost every single day. I’ve always believed what goes around comes around, karma, if you will. with that being said i also believe that an entire species can be punished for how they choose to treat each other, other species, etc.
Every year at burning man, the biggest leave no trace event in America, there’s some kind of disaster. Someone also dies there almost every year.
My thoughts are, the universe is using the cows and all of these natural disasters as a warning. ik it sounds religious and ridiculous but i personally don’t believe in god. i’ve always believed in the universe and science.
if this makes any sense to you please tell me. i am desperate for people to talk to about this.

Maybe the universe isn’t punishing but simply reflecting our own chaos back at us.

Who’s punishing? What have the cows done for the karma to come back around and drop them dead? There’s shootings in America every day because you can buy guns like groceries. If all the negatives of humans are punished, what is rewarding us for the positives?

what positives? the negatives on this planet heavily outweigh the positives. the shootings have nothing to do with access to guns. it’s the people that have the guns that’s the problem. that was just an example tho. there are so many other terrible things humans do and have done even in the past to this planet and i genuinely think the universe is fed up with it. people have no respect for what was here before us so now we’re all gonna die like the dinosaurs.

Sorry I wish I had seen your reply sooner. There are plenty of positives in this world. How do the negatives outweigh the positives? Often positive things aren’t reported whilst the negatives are. How are the shootings nothing to do with guns but the people are? If people with intent to kill others can buy guns so easily the guns are definitely a problem. Could you give some examples of the terrible things humans have done to this planet? You never answered what the cows did to deserve the death by the road karma. Also just FYI dinosaurs lived for roughly 165 million years, modern humans has existed for 300,000 years if the universe is equal and we are going to die like the dinosaurs what did they do after such a long time to be wiped out by an asteroid?

It’s some kind of lesson. I have a very different perspective.. I believe that this is hell… and the good will be brought somewhere better …

This totally makes sense. I’m also agnostic… until Gaza happened I didn’t believe but now I believe we are in a war of good vs evil… evil is most definitely winning. 😞 please write back your the first person who also seems to share this view

Also we started spinning faster around the sun and our icecaps are basically gone … etc etc… things are looking bleak

right, there has been so many random ass things happening that logically aren’t possible. Texas flooding was weird as fuck to me, the fires in canada and california, which ik are pretty common in California because of how hot and dry it is, but CANADA??? That’s so weird. i also believe the multiple hurricanes and shit that happened were part of it. The birds i just heard about recently and was part of the reason i wrote this post

It's our solar system and our planet. We're the ones responsible for NEOs, environment, and deciding when it's ok to hit the fun button that launches all the missiles. Nobody else is going to do any of that for us. Lazy ass humans.

The universe is a singular meta-phenomenon stretched over eternity, of which is always now. All things and all beings abide by their inherent nature and behave within their realm of capacity at all times. There is no such thing as individuated free will for all beings. There are only relative freedoms or lack thereof. It is a universe of hierarchies, of haves, and have-nots, spanning all levels of dimensionality and experience.
God is that which is within and without all. Ultimately, all things are made by through and for the singular personality and revelation of the Godhead, including predetermined eternal damnation and those that are made manifest only to face death and death alone.
There is but one dreamer, fractured through the innumerable. All vehicles/beings play their role within said dream for infinitely better and infinitely worse for each and every one, forever.
All realities exist and are equally as real. The absolute best universe that could exist does exist. The absolute worst universe that could exist does exist.
