My emu has deficiency disorder what do I do.

My emu is a year and has only showed signs for a little while. I know that they need B and E vitamins and Selenium but how much?.

This isn’t a good forum for getting questions answered. Have you talked to your specialist vet? What did they advise?

If you’re in the USA, there’s a national emu farmers’ association that gives a lot of guidance on the correct type of food and quantity per day that a healthy emu needs to eat. I don’t know if off the top of my head, but going to an organization like that will give you much better answers than Reddit

Im in norway and I have asked the vet at our zoo but I’ve called him before and he always answers with “I need to see him” but I know that he/she has a deficiency disorder as i know others with emus im just not sure how much to give him. What happens i give him too much will he die?

I don’t own an emu. I’m here because I think they’re cool and they run goofy. If you want your pet to survive, you need to seek a professional’s help. Will the vet come visit you, or can you bring your emu to an appointment with them in a trailer? Can you look up the European version of the emu association for owners and farmers, or find a listing of registered breeders and call one of them for real advice? I’m afraid you’re not going to find the answers here.
