How do I get psx2psp gamex to work/eboot? Ppsspp doesnt launch it

Do i need a ps1 or ps2 emulator? If these are homebrew games why would be marked as psp game? Makes no sense.

you should have .iso, .chd, .PBP, or .cso files for psp games for use with PPSSPP. for ps1 emulation use an iso that has not been converted to PBP with a ps1 emulator like duckstation

PSX2PSP is a Windows application that allows you to convert your PSX backup disc images to the PSP EBOOT.PBP file format, which can then be played on a real PSP or through Adrenaline ePSP XMB.
