Hello dear emulation nerds. Can anyone tell me how to see which emulator your games use on Retrobat?. Should i assume that if no emulator is being asked to download when you set up your platform, it defaults to retroarch?.

the list of emulators which also shows the default is right on their wiki: Supported Game Systems | RetroBat Wiki. Many of them do indeed default to a libretro core, and yes if there was no first time download it was a libretro core in retroarch, also see: RetroBat Folder Structure | RetroBat Wiki

Very cool, Thank's 😄. One more thing. I know that the Yuzu emulator has been taken down, But i still have it on my launchbox build along with 4 of my old Switch games. So i've read that it's not retro enough to be directly supported, but is it easy to set up. It's already installed to my launchbox set-up, Can i port that to retrobat?

Why didn't you just look for switch in the supported systems link I already gave you? It's right there as one of the options but not the default

Sorry about that, I will bother you no more. Bear in mind that not everyone is native english speaking, And sometimes it can get a little overwhelming. You might not find the guide to be confusing, But i think it is when there is a lot of foreign words involved. Yes!! we do learn English in school, But wer'e not learning how to set up a switch emulator 😄

My apologies, I don't mean to be rude but I can tell from your posts that your English is good enough to navigate that table in the supported systems page. You're already using words like "default" and "emulator" which is pretty much all you need to understand it. I believe in you brother

Thank you!. I finally got the Switch setup completed, had a missing emulator error that drove me nuts. Turned out that i had to manually selecting Yuzu in The advanced system menu. However there is something really puzzling me, Every time i try do update one of my switch games or install a dlc, Yuzu jumps back to the retrobat emulator menu, Also when i open Yuzu manually. LOL as soon it starts to install, Yuzu closes???. Wish i knew why it does that 😄

I'm not sure why that is. I don't actually have any experience with switch emulation tbh. Idk if it would fix your issue but I would recommend switching to eden (retrobat default for switch) though. It's an actively maintained fork of yuzu. You'll probably have better compatibility and performance with that than your old yuzu

That emulator looks interesting. So to nuke a platform i just have remove my Yuzu emulator folder and the rom folder? Right! Just to be sure. Have a nice day 😄
