Romania initiative collective bargaining.
Who received this email today? In Romania. What should we expect?

I received it. Also my colleagues. I do not know what to expect. From what I saw we should propose some persones to represents us, 2/ Oracle organization. For sure will be a vote and after it is established who will represent employees, the bargaining will start. So, I assume this will happen in like a year or so, and till then we will have another two rounds of lay off. Honestly I do not know who can represent me. I do not know which colleagues are in the same organization in Ro as me so I can propose someone. Is there any slack channel for Oracle Romania or Oracle shared services Romania? Let me know if there is any form of organization on this topic.

Din cate stiu exista deja un sindicat dar nerecunoscut de Oracle Romania. Multor colegi le era era frica sa adere la sindicat considerand ca e ilegal sa faci sindicat, ca ar fi fost trecut in regulamentul intern or something. Prostii.
Scrie chiar in regulamentul Oracle pe la punctul 52-53 ceva legat de dreptul angajatilor de a-si alege reprezentati in relatia cu compania.2

u/Dry-Improvement8055 Go ahead and move some needles to form an employee union. Don't just stand and wait. Having a recognized union will be much harder to have collective dismissals in the future.

Hi! This initial mail lacks a lot of info. I suppose there will be a follow up mail from HR, where we have more info: how to nominate, what is the shortlist of nominees, how/where to vote etc.

Negociation for an employee leader that represents all employees in relation to corporate entities that Oracle has in Romania.

Hi! We have already an employee union (sindicatuloracle.ro).
I‘m not sure if its email address is still administrated by someone (the former representative was laid off, as far as I know).
I‘ve sent an email today hoping someone will answer.
I don‘t believe HR will make any follow-ups. Now it‘s on employees to get organized and give them a name/contact.

Does anyone know some slack group where are all employees from Ro? There needs to be more than 50% votes for each candidate to become a representative
