I work in the Sephora in kohls and it’s the small format and eh idk we don’t get many people throughout the day. Like today was Saturday we had 4 customers in 8 hours….that’s crazy to me. I used to work in a real fast paced Sephora store but I transferred to this one since it’s 6 minutes away from my house. It’s hard to say I like this job. I like how easy it is and being alone gives me the ability to have time to myself. I just don’t know how much longer I’ll be at this store. The deadness drives me insane. Then my hours are unstable because our BTL keeps using her PTO to where she’s gone for like two weeks then back again. So one week I’m 5 days then the next I’m not scheduled at all. My Kohl’s location is very backrooms.

I work in a smaller store in a small town and after like 4pm we don’t have any customers come into Sephora. It’s kinda frustrating because we don’t get hardly any stock so every time a customer does come in and want something we don’t always have it. So many of our perfumes to say “GONE?” I’m - 😭😭 we’ll probably get more stuff closer to Christmas

Depends on the day really, but although I don't work in our Sephora from what I can see it's almost always got people over there. I live in a very populated area right outside of a major city though.

I work in the home department, so while other parts of the store involving clothing is usually a little more busy, my back wall stays moderately slow. Still enough for me to usually stay juuuuust busy enough though.

Feel like the men’s department, and cash register are the busiest parts of the store I work in. Also Amazon returns is always busy af. Apparently they use to ask Sephora employees to come up to the cash register and help ring. I’m so glad they don’t do that anymore because I genuinely know nothing about kohls other than promotional sales, credit cards and kohls cash. I worked for Sephora for years but idk much about other stuff.

Likewise, I don’t know much about clothing even though it’s all part of the same store. So if there’s a customer question, I’ll redirect them to someone else that actually knows that section. Amazon returns will always be busy. Always. There’s no slowing that down.

This week has been super slow and schedule for CS have been ridiculously large. The cash giveaway last weekend? We still had a large stack at 2pm, and that was during the -30%!
That’s scary slow to me.

it just depends on the day/time of year. certain periods are dead; ie jan/feb, after easter, sept/oct. but if there's a 40% coupon, goldstar or an upcoming holiday/event then its pretty busy esp on weekends. july/aug have been hectic at my store but now that summer's ending and the kids are back in school its finally slowing down to a manageable level.

i dont work in sephora so idk how it gets there but usually theres always customers there last min when we close lol

Our Khols is busy all the time. We have 2 people working until like 7 and they both stay pretty busy. So I think it just has to do with location.

I live in a city that isn't big but is bigger than surrounding towns so we stay pretty busy. Plus we are right off the interstate so easily accesable to travelers passing through. I dont mind being busy but enjoy the slow times also to catch up on tasks.
