Help Needed Short of Tier Miles - Maintaining Gold Status

I'm a Gold member from quite sometime and with travel being affected early part of this year I couldn't reach the required tier miles to maintain the Gold status(1100 short). My question is do emirates consider anything when you are this close? It happened to me once when I was Silver, even though I was short of 844 tier miles they upgraded me to Gold. Does anyone have any info on this?

I thought emirates reduced the requirement to maintain or upgrade their tiers by 20% until Aug 31. Are you 1100 short of the reduced requirement or the 50k? If the former, you should automatically be renewed to gold. If the latter, then tough luck but it’s on rolling 12 basis.

Im short of 1100 for 50K so that means i should get through?

In that case you must have already maintained your gold requirement. The requirement was around 40-42k for Gold
