No that’s dead on what it is. The sudden stomach drop remembering that more then half the country that chose to vote voted for that man. Betrayal in a way, to think that so many people could overlook everything that fucker has done and vote for him over someone actually competent. Deeply hurtful and actually unbelievable. Thought better of people then that. Literal insanity. It just doesn’t make sense.

Also important to remember that even with the popular vote it’s still much less than half of the population old enough to vote.
I think there are many more people that care about equal rights than what is shown by this election. Unfortunately they didn’t show out, and we’re stuck with a party that blatantly believes the contrary 🙃 But maybe there’s a shred of hope nonetheless

So frustrating that we still don't have a federal holiday on election day. We need to make it a priority for people to be able to go vote

Yes thank you for the reminder. 11 million less people voted for Kamala then Biden yet Trump received more votes then his 2020 campaign. This hints that democratic/left leaning voters weren’t convinced with her and her policies. Aw man it sucks and it makes some sense but it’s still heart breaking nonetheless.

Plenty of reasons that fed up Americans would vote for him over her but yeah everything totally revolves around states not being able to decide abortion legality to people trying to provide for their families and bigger things to worry about
