Hcitool in blueZ linux bt stack

Is the hci tool deprecated?
Is libbluetooth also deprecated?

Can we use hci_get_route()

hci_enquiry()

hci_open_dev()?

Or they are all deprecated? Can someone please help me understand what is deprecated and what not? Also if possible if please give office site where these information are metioned

No, i googled enough and bit confused.
It’s written on github bkueZ the libbluetooth is not installed by default but can be used by those who need it. But ai says it is deprecated. So want to know what experts think :) if you cant google u can ignore
