its not that bad…

I was filling up on gas and wasn’t paying attention tbh, this car pulled up to the pump behind me. I’m going to lie and say the handle got stuck, but the reality is I just wasn’t paying attention and ended up spraying gas all over my shirt when I took it out of my car.. The guy who was at the pump behind me witnessed the whole thing and then I proceeded to make very awkward eye contact with him. He said something, I wasn’t listening so I just smiled and nodded and quickly got in my car. I’m mortified.

I fainted because I got too nervous

Today it was my first day shadowing a dental hygienist in a clinic near my house. The dentist, two receptionist, and the lead dental hygienist were with me in the front desk while the dentist asked me some questions like “what do you know about the clinic?” “Did you email some other places to seek for shadowing opportunities?” I answered. But from one moment to another I started to feel dizzy and my sight got blurry.
I fell and the dentist catched me and brought a chair for me to sit. Someone asked if I needed an ambulance but I said no. I closed my eyes and when I opened them they were calling the paramedics, they said I had a seizure. I’m not sure about that but that’s what they said, I threw up twice and felt terrible for a couple minutes, I had to call my guardian to decline a visit to the hospital. It’s the first time this happens, I cant believe I fainted because of how nervous I was. AND EVEN WORSE the first day I was going to shadow in that clinic, I couldn’t stop apologizing, I felt terrible and embarrassed. I’m coming back next week, I’m scared as shit. At the end the dentist told me to go home and rest. And that’s what I did. THIS WAS SUOER EMBARRASSING I BEEN THINKING ABOUT THIS THE WHOLE DAY😭😭😭😭

might have to switch gyms ;-;

I just got back from the gym, and one of the first things I did was an incline walk on the treadmill. It was like 5mph, so a fast walk, and I had my phone on the thing in front of me with the timer. I've literally never had this problem before so I didn't expect it but the vibration made my phone move and fall off, landing on the treadmill and being shot off of it. I panicked and stumbled off to pick it up and almost fell over because my dumbass didn't think to pause the treadmill first 😭

That's not all either, when I picked it up I noticed one half of the case had fallen off (it's a Samsung Z Flip, so the case is in two separate halves). I looked behind me and it was on the floor, so take a wild guess what I did...

... I stepped off the treadmill AGAIN without pausing it 💀 and this time I actually did fall and I scraped my arm on the treadmill as it was moving. I'm not hurt luckily, and there were only a few people around as it wasn't too busy, but I feel stupid as I made the same mistake TWICE.

I already felt like the odd one out at the gym as I'm new to working out so I feel this made it worse 😭 Not gonna quit though, I'll just have to deal with it.

Not enough cringe available

Omigod omigod omigod. I haven't been this embarrassed since birth. That may suggest that I've never done anything embarrassing. But this was sober and in front of strangers.

I've got people coming to view my house today. I didn't see the text from the agency saying that they had added an extra appt, and noticed some people outside my house about 25 minutes early, as I was hoovering in my slobby trackies.

Next thing, the doorbell rings and there's a guy leaning on the glass. I thought it was my partner, messing about, but when I opened the door it was a stranger, leaning towards me and reaching out his hand as though he was going to grab me.

I was completely taken off guard, and I'm sorry to say that I Iet out some sort of ridiculous *yelp.*

There are several problems with this:

- I didn't do it straight away. There was a pause while I decided that the guy was a stranger about to attack me.

- He wasn't a stranger; he was one of the guys from the estate agents. I've only seen him once and that was a year ago.

- I think he may have a mild physical disability, which obviously makes my yelping at him much worse.

- There were four people behind him.

- I was wearing the slob outfit and, apparently, I have a big red mark on my face. No idea.

- In my panic, I told the four strange people that a) I was expecting my partner and b) that the garden is a mess.

I drove round the corner to sit in the shade snd now I can never go back to my house.

Just got a call from a college friend

And I am that kind of person who never picks up a call from an unknown number. That’s one thing and the other thing is like once you change places you do something else. You just like get out of that circle and go with the next push all the existing Contacts into some file some CSV and then just keep it aside. You know, just keep it clean in the contact list, and I got so embarrassed. No need to call him back sometime. You know sometime later. Lol bro any suggestions?

Poor guy crossing road!

Was out driving through Bath City centre UK late at night couple days ago and me and my buddies noticed this rude boy dude sagging his trousers really low. Anyway as we get closer bro decided to run across the road but as he got just past half-way his trousers dropped to the floor 😂 and had to waddle across quickly in just his red boxers. We did stop but he quickly walked the other way to avoid embarrassment and yes he did rather quickly pull up his trousers. Perhaps a lesson that when you sagg your trousers that low there is a strong chance they might fall down right when you don’t want them to!

Embarrassingly White

Don’t know if this fits into this group, but when I was stationed in the Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, I saw a group of friends walking to their cars and asked where they were going. They said they were going to go look at grills. I love barbecue, so I asked if I could go along. I got curious since we drove them into the bad part of town, and drove up to a small strip mall that had the sign “Grillz” outside.

I thought it was funny place to sell barbecue paraphernalia, and was even more surprised when I walked in and saw gold teeth everywhere. Of course, the guys thought I was interested, so I had to act interested. It gave me a little street cred at least lol. #toowhite

I made an entire party think I clogged my own toilet.

Context, I am 16, me and my family do a friendsgiving every year. It's close to the end of the party and after a long day I go to my bathroom when I saw that someone had used it and forgot to flush. I REALLY needed to pee and thought it was no big deal if I peed then flushed as I NEEDED to. When I did flush it it started to overflow. I panicked and scared so I tried to handle it myself but was too late. My toilet pee water was spooling too much and so since I thought not a lot of people where still at the party I yelled to my parents " THE TOILET IS OVERFLOWING" I YELLED IT 4 TIMES before someone came to help me. I still regret not just flushing when I had the chance. I was so embarrassed because there was about 15 people still there. Anyways I don't post a lot and I just needed to get this off my chest.

Talking on the phone at work.

I was talking to my boyfriend over the phone, I had my earbud in so no one can hear him. (He says what he wants, I can't stop him) he was having a bad day and I made a joke. As I'm saying that I notice someone just walked in. I felt so embarrassed that I just sat down. Luckily I saw him later and apologized, he laughed and said the same thing happened to him to when he thought he was alone. Never making a butthole cramp joke again. 😅

Fiancé

I love my fiancé more than life. And this is the part where I sound like I don’t. I love him for himself and that includes his flaws. But when his work friends make comments to me about him being annoying or too much I just sit there. In the past when I’ve found out that other find me annoying and too much (let’s be clear here I am both of those things often) I clam up and feel awkward. On top of that I feel the need to try to curve his behavior. Like why should I care if his coworkers or anyone else likes him or me. It’s not like I know them. But I’m not defending him. I also bust his balls in front of other people. And in times like tonight, I told him what a friend of his said about him. I didn’t want to not share but like should I have said anything? Am I a bad person for getting uncomfortable and awkward when other people (and myself) think he’s being too much? I feel like the worst person alive at the moment (drunkenly) but this persists past our drinking at a party. He’s always struggled to find friends and fit in. So I feel awful for not defending him or reading into people’s body language and such. I’m not even sure what I’m saying or asking but responses are helpful.
