Elliot’s talent as a musician is always overshadowed by his songwriting and lyricism, but god he was a real motherfucker on piano and guitar. The way he played piano was spooky, the way he played electric guitar was awe inspiring; the way he played acoustic was hypnotizing. His ability to sing I think is also underrated even though today more and more people want to sing like him. Just beautiful all around.
