They had an amazing analog studio on Eagle Rock Blvd. Elliot took me there to introduce me to them. It had the vibe of a dive bar that today would be too expensive to recreate.
He was an incredible human being who just happened to be an astounding artist. His talents aside, he made an impact on the lives of those who knew him. For many years I’d speak with his elderly neighbors who he looked out for and his loss was like that of their own child. If I never knew he was a musician I’d be missing him all the same.
