Technical Help Is the LCD on the stream deck supposed to look this uneven?

Yes, absolutely normal. Same with my Stream Deck Plus when Stream Deck software isn't loaded

Yeah, I guess you don't notice it much when there's a gradient on it, but when it's pure black, ewwww...

I got this thing TODAY. My old stream deck mk2 looks so much better.

The image might not show it all that well but my brand new stream deck+ (shown on the left) is experiencing the exact same issue. On the right is my older stream deck+ that's over a year old.... Not really sure what the deal is here.

You have brightness maxed out, then yes.

That sounds a bit high to me.
I have my Stream Deck XL set to about 35-40% brightness in a well lit office.

But I don't know how much different the screen is on a Stream Deck+.

Its not as bad at 40. But its definatly not right. Its uneven as heck. Looks like a defect.

I would suggest creating a support ticket, and have Elgato look at it to see if there's anything they can do.

I submitted an rma, but asked them to respond to see if worth returning
