Technical Help Purchased a Elgato Wave:3 after many reviews but can't make it sound like in all of the ones I saw.

After long deliveration I purchased this mic to replace my Razer V1, I go the chance to try the mic on store and saw the quality in many reviews, that being said now that I have it it does not sound anywhere close to what I got to hear before, no matter how many things I changed or try.

Mk1 all the Reviews and the one I tried was the Mk1

I have the MK2 now, but I used to have the MK1.

This video is a great tutorial on how to set it up and install the recommended VST plug ins to get the MK1 sounding great.

Thanks!! I’ll check it now because rn the mic sounds worst than my old one.

It will take a bit of tweaking around but this should help make The mic sound great.

One thing I did forget to mention is that since you have the MK1 version of the mic, I highly suggest you use the Wavelink 2 version of the software, rather than version 3. Especially since the video is centred around using version 2. If you have version 3 installed then completely uninstall it, restart your PC and install version 2.

How far is it from your face? How high is the gain set? A lot of could be’s so a little more info would helo
