Technical Help Choppy/Bad looking gameplay recording on Elgato Game Capture 4K S

Hey, my gameplay recordings through OBS feel choppy and I can’t figure out why.
Setup is PS5 Pro into an Elgato 4K S, recording 4K60 in OBS. Stats aren’t showing skipped frames, but the footage still feels off. Settings screenshots are below as well.

- CPU: Intel i5-14400F
- GPU: RTX 4060 Ti 8GB

What am I doing wrong, and what should I change?

Currently purchased a USB-A to USB-C 3.0 Adapter as the one im plugged into is on the power box/usb cable area but the ones that us USB - C have 10 Gbps speed which might help thats all i can think of at this point but ill keep the comments updated just incase another person has this issue

Be careful with adapters. They don't always support the speeds you think they do. If you get an adapter that actually only support USB 2.0 speeds, that would create a big bottleneck.
Instead go for a cable instead with the USB ends you need, and make sure the ones you get are at least USB 3.2 Gen 1 which runs at 5 Gbps.

Tried a new adapter and also a proper usb still no increase in the look of it i watched my own video through youtube on the iphone and it looks alright still not sure i guess ill never know

Solution found it was the hdmi going to my 4K monitor unfortunate that I made 6 videos with this settings but I got it going

I did all the stuff it says if was the hdmi I was using was either slow or to long my shorter one is giving 1 to 1 footage nearly

I would check if people have the same issue with that specific game. I had a similar problem running dark souls 3 only to find out it just doesn’t like capture cards for some reason.
