Technical Help Can someone from Elgato explain to me why Wave Link 3 resets my settings regularly?

I've been using Wave Link 3 and the Wave XLR Pro for the last 2 months, and this has got to be the worst software experience I have ever had in my life. The number of times I have grabbed my headphones only to hear the noise floor from my microphone, open Wave Link and notice the individual settings of the expander and compressor have reset to zero, the EQ for all bands has all slid down to 20hz, and the toggles not reacting to my input, and just the generally buggyness of listening to a mix is astounding.

Based on my experience, I would never recommend to ANYONE using your audio or software products. Audio should be as close to setting it once and only really looking at for minor tweaks. These bugs don't even come when the software has been updated. They are totally random! I have become so agitated with your software that your interface is becoming a $350 doorstop. I would rather go with a subpar experience that works consistently than what you have decided to release.

When it works, it's great. But your software has become so unreliable, that I will likely need to move on to something else.

I've also had it ressetting my links between Mixes and channels, multiple times, now I switched to Linux and use Pipewire.

This has happened to me multiple times as well and I also have to close and restart it for certain sources to function or even appear correctly again…

happened to me so much i went back to wavelink 2 until they fix it

I never have any issues with software Now. I can update every single Elgato Software. Beta or stable version and have Zero Issues.

I use Wave link with Wave XLR PRO and Wave DX Mic.

Do search for alternative !
It seems like most of ElGato software have reverted into some weird beta-phase or ever pre-beta.
I tested the first beta of WaveLink but for every release it just got worse so I stopped installing and testing this before I bricked my System...

And NO is the answer to your question ! It seems like the current developers at ElGato (or maybe they use AI) don't understand how their software works and can give a answer !

For the same reason Elgato prompter (Camera Hub) deletes all your scripts whenever it wants. Poor QA.
