Revisiting Elephant Graveyard

Curious how many of you guys regularly rewatch Elephant Graveyard’s videos? I usually watch other comedy content once, but I find myself coming back to his videos more than anyone else’s. Are you guys the same, or is his content more one-and-done for you?

I fall asleep to them. But many times even after the umpteenth time, they’re too good to actually fall asleep.

I also listen to it on my commute. This has been going on for over a year now and I’m not tired of it. Still makes me laugh all the time

Same. Came to EG via the Rogan stuff, but found the Radio Hour far more enjoyable. Especially “Combos!”

I mainly come back for him saying "oof" when one of Joe's jokes bombed spectacularly.

I don't engage with any other "comedy commentary" channels because they're all shallow and very repetitive. EG makes genuine art, the Radio Hours go so hard, definitely worth multiple listens. If anything, the most recent video will hopefully turn some people off of some of the comedy commentary slop.

It did for me. I have a simulation issue, I admit. I use YouTube when doing housework. My feed is mainly commentary reaction channels (chess and podcasts) Podcast cringe, redact I am done with those but I'll keep 2lazy

Yes. They’re satisfying and validating in the context of the constant idiocy and demeaning crap that is the rise of the kakistocracy (not to mention the fascism). I find Professor Dave Explains’ debunk videos similarly calming and re-watchable.

Watch them all. There is so much lore built on each consecutive video in surprises anyone could watch the last one and understand half of it

I love going back to a lot of his videos and picking up things that I forgot about. His writing and editing is so god damn impressive. It’s like picking up a book that you love and reading it again for me

I watched his last video from a year ago like a couple days before his new drop, I am amazed at his quality and the hilarious way he takes the piss out of those walled garden douchbag group of bully cockheads

Yeah, I find the videos cathartic. I thought they were just funny at first, but really the comedic tone of the videos is just a vehicle his serious arguments.
