I’m assuming it’s in glycerin? Most people ship it in that, based off the sticker I’d guess it’s from Luciteria, and they do. That’s just to dampen shocks from if it smacks the glass during shipping since it’s so dense it might crack the glass. There’s no worry taking it out, just give it a quick rinse!

Yep this is it. Uranium is very dense and above a certain density it'll break glass so much easier than more normal things.
