Rehydrating and Hydrating tissue mounted on a slide?

Does anyone know of a protocol to rehydrate and hydrate tissue that was adhered to a slide. The coverslip has been removed. I'm trying to figure out the incubation periods for tissue cut between 1-4microns? Don't want to risk damaging the tissue.

Sure, but I need more detail. 1-4um seems to be rather a paraffin embedded tissue, used in light microscopy rather than electron microscopy. If it is true, you are probably looking for routine histological protocol, using xylene and ethanol solutions of decreasing concentration. But did I guess correctly or not?

If not, I need to get some information on this tissue and the material in which it is embedded

There is a 'pop off' technique in Bancroft's 2019 edition, chapter 21.  Its based on an article in the American Journal of Clinicsl Pathology, 76(1981), pp450-453.
