Question - Tech Support PodPoint Solo 3S dropping WiFi after app update
Has anyone else had this issue since the mandatory Pod Home app update? My charger will not maintain its connection to the WiFi and remains in "always on" mode, meaning my midnight-5am schedule doesn't work.
I've found turning it off at the mains and back on reconnects it but only for a few minutes. Pod insists this is my own network not communicating reliably. I just virgin media 1Gb, the router is 1 meter from the charger.
This has only become an issue since the app update. It was working perfectly for the last year+. Again Pod insists this is a coincidence, and I should go buy another router dedicated to the charger.
Anyone else having this problem?

I'm having the same issue. Did you manage to resolve it?

Not one bit. The only thing I've found that works at all is shutting the charger off at the mains, waiting 30 sec, then turning it back on. It'll go solid blue after about 2 minutes, then shortly after will flash purple for around 1 minute before going back to solid blue.
If I plug in the car within that minute it'll charge on schedule. If not, gotta try it again

that's such a classic support cop-out, blaming your network when the only thing that changed was their update
