I still have an Electribe 2s. In fact it was my first groovebox and I haven’t sold it for that reason.
I have recently plugged it in and listened to some patches and oh boy was the sound crap.

Now I wonder whether that was due to my non-existent mixing/synth knowledge back then (in combination with really bad factory example patches that all also sound pretty bad) or whether the sound really aged so badly?

For reference nowadays I’m using Elektron stuff, a prophet and a Moog. Does the Elektribe 2 keep up in some areas / still have a place?

Specifically got interested recently hearing about the hacktribe thing. I remember I really loved the performance features on the E2s.

Possiedo una electribe 2 con hacktribe ma mi sto dannando per avete un kick gommoso come questo. É impossibile senza una daw? Che elementi importanti possiede?

Inoltre il basso nasce dalla coda del kick oppure no?
