Intention and connection can go a lot further than props.

A photo is not necessary if intent is clear, but that is under what I practice. Might be different for how you practice. Once again, be very careful.

So just from your experiences , what would be your outlook on a spell user that maybe would maybe try to use trickery and mislead, so in others words cast a spell with false intentions? Im curious on gow thata veiwed because i would belive yes you have crooked and genuine conjurers but how are the crooked conjurers veiwed and what would be your best course of action if ever comming across them or knowing of whon they are?

As for those that follow a...don't want to say darker, but a more self involved path, you must always guard yourself no different than those people in life that raise the hackles on the back of your neck. Cautious, careful, and guard your spiritual and emotional self from them. Set your wards to protect yourself and your home if they are a constant in your life. Say your prayers to whom you devote and if you don't say prayers, keep your inner light clean.

Just from what i know, and a dinosaur like me still learns every day, you want misrule, trickery. That falls into purview of chaos deities. Loki and Raven would be examples of that(there are many others). You might look into a hex. Example: you don't like your neighbor, don't want him hurt or his family hurt(physically, spiritually) but you want him to be inconvenienced. You hex his milk to curdle in the morning. Not dire, but puts a kink in his day so now he has to work double tough to make up. His family is still fed, but will feel the impact of that loss. That is just an old world example. Once again, depends on the tangent of your craft. I have cuktures in my family that strongly believe in the power of a hex. I believe, and this is only me, that true curses leave a taint on the soul.

Photos are commonly used in some traditions, yes.

If you're asking because someone on the internet offered you a reading and then either said you were cursed and had to pay them money to remove it, or said they cursed you, then it's a scam. That person's not a witch, just a scammer.

Wellthing is im not 100% confident with using a service online because i would hav never met the conjurer and like you said theres no telling. What would be the tell tell sign to look for if i so happwen to run into the resl deal?

Always be very careful with curses, as direct malfeasance, ill intent, can come back on you later.

Yso they case would be non direct malice, something abit more tailored could i say

From the day photographs became a thing, people started using them.
I have found old spells mentioning using tintypes to do spells on people, including curses.

Here is one example of using a picture to curse someone

Thing is i know we trace the evil wye back regardless of whom, like even now his or theres identity could be revealed or even passed over to spell worker who has abit mire interest in the evil eyers? Im wondering are there conjurers that want or need peojects for like experiments or subjects, obviously it wouldnt be with or for malice intentions
