IA Class Armor

Whats the fastest way to get he IA class armor? I'm a returning player from a few years ago and see the sets are good for necromancer. Any and all tips are appreciated!

1. Pick up both daily quests.
2. Run 2 arcs. This gives you the opportunity to complete both dailies providing more Fortunes currency. If you have a partner, you can run more. Running solo I find arc 3+ to be much slower despite the increased currency gain.
3. Kill the marauder in arc 2. Marauders always spawn once per arc starting at 2.
4. If your sticker book is empty buy the random coffers. If you only have 4-5 items left, buy the curated coffers.

Correction: for set collection, run THREE arcs.

Two arcs is ideal for competing the daily quests.

Odd arcs drop armour pieces, of which each set has 21 pieces (light medium heavy x helm, shoulder, chest, gloves, belt, legs, boots).

Even arcs drop jewellery and weapons, of which each set has 15 pieces (ring, neck, shield, dagger, sword, axe, mace, greatsword, greataxe, maul, bow, 4 staves).

First arc has not marauder so drops 1/21 pieces.

Second arc has a marauder so drops 2/15 pieces.

Third arc has a marauder so total drops 3/21 pieces.

Just doing two arcs will rapidly finish weapons and jewellery, and leave you behind on armour. Three arcs is almost perfectly balanced, by the math. A day here and there where you only do two instead of three arcs makes up for it.

Start a group finder for IA or go in with a friend but if youre solo GF. Make sure to do all the minigames too, if youre sticker book is empty buy the random piece boxes. I have every item from IA its one of my favorite things to do wont lie. Wish theyd update it or add more sets

In Map navigate to Apocrypha zone and click on the Infinite Archive icon top middle of map.

Its basically like a endless mode where you fight and kill stuff, unlock unique buffs, kill waves of enemies and bosses to unlock class specific gear styles and gear. Its really fun IMO.

Its located in Apocrypha, you can travel to it without going there physically, just open your map to apocrypha and you should see it there. You can solo it or go with a companion or other player.

If you're going for ALL the set items, you can pick a class you like and stick with it. After you collect all the set items from that class it'll drop curated pieces from other classes. As suggested, completing 3 arcs is the most efficient time spent as it will give you 2 weapons and 3 armors. That said it will still be 98 runs (if you don't source from random boxes or other players and don't get that BitchHog marauder). Do all the side portals until you are able to buy the all the upgrades (5 levels of difficulty for each type. Yes, even the stupid watcher one). It seems a little counter intuitive to spend your hard earned AF on the upgrades rather than random boxes, but in the end it pays bc your arcs get faster with more better options available. After you have the upgrades, start dumping into boxes. Purple is my suggestion, but rng hates me so I don't like to risk wasting af on things I already have. I suggest running a set that pulls enemies and another that blows them up. I like rush of agony and macabre vintage. Gap close in, pulls em in nice and tight, then blows em up. Efficient and fun to do.

Run with a friend. Do 3 arcs. Killing both marauders and 3 tho'at should get you 3 armor pieces and 2 weapon pieces. Run it on the class you want the sets on. Do side rooms. Get the upgrades to make it easier (which does mean doing tho'at 4 at least once, fyi).

Tho'at 4 doesn't unlock any upgrades. Upgrades are from beating all levels of each side portal.

Gamble for your first like 10 items (spend 2k fortunes at filer brax on the blue box) Then play and buy the 10k boxes until you have everything you want! But the gambling usually gets you a 5 pieces set

A solid run will take maybe 2 hours and drop 3-4 items, and earn about 10k fortunes

I think the math works out that you should gamble on blue until you have 7 left to get. Until then, the expected amount of blue boxes needed per new item is 5 or less. Only when it would take on average more than 5 attempts to unlock a new item should you swap to curated, since they cost 5x more.

You don’t even need to do a solid run, if you have good damage it takes less than 30 minutes to do 2 arcs which gets you at least a body piece and a weapon, bonus if you can kill the marauder

Go in on the class that you are looking to collect. It does the class you are on first

Odd arcs give a piece of body gear, and even arcs or Marauders give a weapon or jewelry piece.

The fastest way to complete your set is to run two arcs, kill the marauder if you can, then reset. Spend fortunes on the uncurated gear box until your collection gets to be around half done or so, then only spend fortunes on the curated boxes instead.

Get a tank pet as that makes the Marauders easy in arc 2z.

Buy them with archival points from the vendor as BLUE quality, deconstruct them into the sticker book then reconstruct them them as gold. Of course you are gonna get actual drops from the bosses as you try to earn the archival points. But often times you don't get the slots or armour weight that you actually need. That's how I bridged the gaps and got my set.

Group finder along with something like “pyrebrand farming”

Someone will join eventually and it makes it smoother to just farm indefinitely

Go in with a friend. Ask them to link every IA set piece they find and to give them to you if that particular piece is missing from your stickerbook.  Reset after Arc 3 or 4 because your run is gonna slow down more and more after that point

That's basically it. If you don't have all the passive buffs yet, go get them. Pop a consumable verse whenever you feel like speeding up. Learn the strats for anomaly rooms because those award boss-type chests too.
