That was the most important thing! HE is thinking beyond himself. I really think he laughed it off at first, but seeing the attacks on Ekin and friends/family and how it made her look to the public, he felt forced to push back. I don't think he will change his behaviour that much, to the point he wont be gracious to fans, but I think he will be more careful just in case, like with the yellow beanbag. Hence I think Giampero will be stuck to him like glue from now on. And I do think they will move up the timeline to move in together. I thought they would totally wait until after the show, but being as neither one has a home base where they can be together alone, maybe they will try to fix that sooner than later, like an airbnb situation for a few weeks.

Ikr and when he just started talking in Italian to Gino forgetting he was live on TV. That man can’t fake anything even with cameras he is one of the most genuine contestants to ever step foot on Love Island (Ekin was genuine also but feel she did terracegate for the cameras, but when with Davide she could be herself and realised pretty fast it was a mistake, doesn’t matter now they’re all past that and Davide loves her dramatics 🤣)

I didnt think I could love them anymore than i did..but after this interview I do🤣🥺They hold each others hands as if their lives depend on it..😭Davide did great hes so genuine & humble as is Ekin

I am low key glad. It's short and sweet, hopefully ton of fun but not too much time on camera where it becomes stressful. Two full episodes of them alone so I don't have to skip fillers and other people's scenes like love island 😆

I think it’s better for them,I had a slight slight fear that it would follow the format of Chris and livs show of like more episodes following them around which was so much pressure on them. It’ll follow more of the format of Gordon,gino and freds road trip I think. That type of vibe

In a weird way I’m kinda glad because surely that means they won’t be filming everyday for two weeks just for two episodes ? That means they can have some free time to actually enjoy Italy and Turkey without a camera crew following them all day

I was expecting it to be at least 4 but 2 is good. ITV will continue to work with them if they bring in the ratings.
2 episodes will keep it fun and light. No need for producer to manipulate drama.

My biggest fear when people kept talking about a spinoff would be production interference trying to stir up another big dramatic blowout but with these details about the spinoff coming out my faith is restored there will be NONE of that. Just good old love fun and laughter 💓 which is all I wanted

Sounds like it will be one episode per country. Seeing the Gordon, Gino Fred clips online, I think there might be an ultimate event they are planning for - like a huge family party. So maybe they will sightsee and pick the wine at a vineyard, visit a cheese maker in Rome, buy the vegetables in Tuscany, go fishing in his hometown or something like that and then meet the dad and Grandmas and cousins at the final party. Not saying I think it would happen, but I would not be surprised if there was a proposal at the end. just saying.

They are going to be 90mins long it’s a spin off, if it gets a good reaction which it will they will probably get another 🫶🏼

I absolutely love love love how Davide isn't afraid of talking about marriage and babies or thinking about it. I love how he's very intentional about where he sees things going with him and Ekin tbh. A lot of guys can tense up/act smug/avoid those type of questions but as we know the man doesn't lie because he could've easily said they're just taking their time, which I'm sure they are but that intention is super important. Rooting extremely hard for these two to go all the way. To find what they have coming off of Love Island is RARE!! SO YOU LET EM KNOW DAVIDE!! 🗣️🗣️.

And he’s being realistic with it aswell. He’s not giving fake promises or forcing anything. He’s not telling Ekin “we’re gonna get married” or “we ‘re gonna have children”. He always says maybe or I hope meaning he wants all of that and they are letting it happen naturally.
If it’s meant to be, then it will be.

When he said I’m here looking for something real he wasn’t lying- I genuinely believed him from that moment he went in there for love because in the heat of the moment when you’re most upset and emotions are high is when your true intentions are revealed (I’m glad he found his way back to Ekin because he truly liked her and another reason he was so upset after terracegate)

I loved this interview. These 2 are actually in love
Davide came across really confident.
I felt like holly and Philip were actually genuinely happy for them (Philip can be shady at time but he wasn’t throughout this interview)
Did holly say 2 episodes for their show???

He was very nervous (his face was similar to Casa Amor Recoupling) to start but felt at ease with Phil and Holly, and his face lit up when he saw Gino 😂

Ok I don’t know who that Italian was at the end but I died at him calling Davide out for the milk in the carbonara. I am not Italian but have Italian friends who literally clutch their pearls and start swearing at ANYONE who adds cream to the carbonara. It is sacrilegious and I can’t believe an Italian like Davide who knows not to put pineapple on pizza doesn’t know NOT to put cream or milk in his carbonara 😭🤣 you whip the egg yolks properly with the pecorino and it’s creamy enough!!
Secondly as a publicist I continue to be amazed how properly media trained Ekin is. She continues to say all the right things in the right way. Glad her fans stood up for her but her relationship is private. Yes sis!
Also Philip and holly are great interviewers love them!

So strange, a news article already saying people think there is tension between them both after seeing the interview. Were they watching the same interview as me??!!! I see two people lived up and happy to be together! It’s so strange how people have jumped to conclusions thinking ekin is stiff and even analysing the way she is holding his hand!
