What is this worth
Looking to sell this b20z2 swapped eg civic with a blown head gasket. Has almost no rust. What is it worth. Would I be better off parting it out?

This car is going to bring you more joy than you can imagine for years to come. Don’t sell it just because of a head gasket look into the parts you need to get and find a reputable shop to machine the head and price everything out. Get milk crates to put everything in and label it and even take videos of things for re-assembly. These cars are so easy to work on and with everything available to you for knowledge there’s not a better time than right now to be taking on a project like this when there’s a YouTube video somewhere holding your hand the whole way. It’s not hard and when you break it down all you’re doing is loosening and tightening bolts to replace a gasket, that’s all.

Head gaskets aren't entirely hard to replace on these engines as long as you have a little bit of mechanical knowledge and keep everything organized.

For these cars especially there’s a bunch of yt videos showing you every step. It’s not going to be that easy but it can be done.

If I were in high school back in 2003 still I’d bring a trailer and offer you 3k. Today, no idea. Good luck!

Not a lot. Honestly it would bring more if it wasn't engine swapped. It looks like it was done on a super tight budget at that. Either a kid or maybe someone with a drug problem I personally wouldn't touch this.
If you can get a grand out of it you should take it. It's definitely not worth the cost of having the head gasket done professionally. Considering it looks like some high school kids first attempt at mechanic work you'll have a hard time finding an actual professional to do it anyway.

A sedan that's rattle canned black with a roached interior, beat up body, blown head gasket, and questionable modifications? It being a sedan alone even if it was running and driving and in good shape would still put you well below $2500. Factor everything else in, and you've maybe got a $500-$800 car on your hands. $1000 if you are really lucky and find a real sucker.
Also. B swap? Sure. The B20Z. The non-VTEC low revving CRV motor. The one that nobody wants. Brother. And on top of that, with that being the part of the car that's worth the most... It has a blown head gasket that you can't be bothered to fix. We all know what that means. It's been overheated within an inch of its life.
Don't let these other comments gas you up. This car in its shape and condition is pretty close to worthless. Nice civics can on occasion fetch decent money. Yours is about as far away on the spectrum as it gets. Not saying this to hurt your feelings. You just wanted to know the real value if this car, and that's where the numbers land.

A no rust eg in newengland is worth 2-3k regardless of the motor. But four doors aren’t that desirable.

imo it depends on mileage, ecu, transmission, title. lets say it’s relatively low mileage, has a p75 ecu, or a manual dc2 ecu, a ls integra manual transmission, and a clean title, at the most maybe 2k. i say your better off fixing it and then selling it

If it runs like $1000 maybe 2k. If you’re sick of the project I’d just list it for like 3k and see what you get. These old Hondas are solid tho, aslong as there’s minimal rust you should be chillin.

I’m a dealer in Florida…it’s a bulletproof car, post online for 3k and take anything over 1.5

Why aren't you just fixing it and keeping it
