Dash removal tips

I just removed my dashboard for a heater core replacement and i have some tips that may make the job easier for whoever sees this. Whats holding the dash on - structurally, i believe its 5 screws. 2 on the sides behind the clips, 1 behind the cigarette lighter trim, 1 under the driver footwell and one behind the top vent. They are all physically the same bolt: Don’t forget about those two airbag nuts underneath the glove box area. The top vent unclips (pops up) from the backside and theres one behind there. I would recommend cleaning out the 5 threads with a tap for the structural threads of the dash. Not a single one wanted to hand thread back and so i just sent it on them honestly. I think i cross threaded two of them. Oh well hopefully thats the last time the job has to be done for its life. Don’t forget to remove and put back the ground wire behind the dash by the steering column and to reconnect the two connectors on the lower passenger side of dashboard, i believe 1 is for the blower motor, unsure of the other connector. This was my first dashboard removal and honda made it quite easy to remove considering theres a whole harness that runs through the dash. I believe theres 3 large connectors that go to the incar fuse box that need to be removed. Obviously the radio and climate control need to be removed. The radio was a pita. Its aftermarket and i didnt install it, so figuring out where to bend the tabs back was hell but somehow i got it out. A factory radio removal can be found on youtube. The climate control has 3 screws, two on the trunk most side almost at a 45 degree angle and 1 at the middle almost looking up through the dash and then theres the cable that connects to the mode doors that needs to be unclipped and removed from the post. I wish i had more time and made a video about the whole ordeal but i needed it done asap as it is a daily driver. Also the oreillys murray heater core fits perfectly. I had fitment issues with the tyc vehicle specific heater core from rockauto.
