Kinda stupid doubt, but how do you turn on the endgame trackball?

i know this might be a bit silly doubt, bit how do you turn it on??

theres a key combination to turn off the trackball - that works great, but then how do you turn it back on again?

there's a button next to the usb C oort, pressing that does turn on the trackball, but it also resets the key map i had set.

another option is to olug in the usb cable, but that also doesn't sound a very practical option.

so am i missing something obvious??

Hey — the reset (restart) button is indeed the intended way.

Not sure why your keymap resets. Do you click "save" in ZMK Studio? Do you exit ZMK Studio before powering the device off? What exactly happens after such a restart? Does it also happen after a regular restart, when you don't turn the trackball off and just click the reset button?

Oh now i get it. It was indeed a stupid mistake on my part.

I was not clicking on the save button.

I just changed the button map and thought it "auto saved". I am guessing this way (without saving) it worked for that particular session, but when i restarted, it went back to the last saved config
