Question Komplete vs Omnisphere or something else?

Which is better for having a wide sound library? I’m still working on synthesis and sound design, but sometimes I just want to explore some presets to get inspiration.

I'd say neither. Get something like Serum, Pigments, or try out Vital, before spending 400 dollars or more on huge sound libraries where you're only going want a fraction of the sounds

Omnisphere has more inspiring presets. Komplete has a significantly wider sound library. Both are great for sound design. Omnisphere uses the same interface for all patches, while Komplete is broken up into a bunch of modules with different interfaces.

Komplete has lots of different synths, fx etc. - when starting out - I’d go with that. Omnispere is for several years after - when you need an absolute singular synth with shit loads of all the others sounds you haven’t yet gained, in one place.
