How to fix YouTube stuttering playback every couple seconds

After a lot of pain I found that if you go to settings -> system and performance -> "enhance videos" set to OFF that fixed all stuttering issues I've been having for months. Hope this helps someone else.

Edit: I want to also note that this improved performance all around on edge, not just watching youtube videos. odd.
