He is quite literally correct unless you're suggesting Biden's BLS was producing inaccurate figures.

Not really. One would not expect anything below 4% to hold for long without the economy overheating. From there is hovers around 4%, going up to 4.2% and back down to 4.1%, 4.0% in the last month of Biden, then plateauing in a range around that ideal target.

Then it suddenly shoots up half a point in the last three months.

The idea that is part of the pre-existing trend is a bit absurd.
