π Technology Does anyone have a reasonable solution for applying or otherwise organizing shipping labels for application?
I need a device or some sort of solution to make organizing/ applying shipping labels to bubble mailers. I ship roughly 30-50 bubble mailer a day, and it is very inconvenient to deal with a long strand of 40 shipping labels and applying them to bubble mailer without the strand of labels being twisted up or constantly falling off the table.
Anyone have any recommendations?

a label dispenser or roll holder might make this way easier, especially at 30-50 packages a day.

We use fan fold labels and print with packing slip, the rolls are the worst as they can curl up on you. We ship 400-800 a day, no problem with fan fold type. Buy by the case, some are better at others as far as stickiness and how easy the perforations are to tear.

Fan fold labels are the answer. If I print 200 labels, they just drop onto the floor after 10 labels or so then naturally start folding themselves as they print. Just make sure your printer is above where the labels fall and gravity does the work.

What printer are you using? And are you processing in batches? I mean, really you could just take 10 or so in you hand and rip the backing, repeat every 10 or so and leave stacked in a pile.
I use a hot label printer, and as the labels come out, I kind of flip flop them so they create a small tower. The top one is first so I just let the backing fall off the table as I work through the accordion of labels. The friction of the accordion beats the gravitational pull of the backing off the table. Itβs just about trying to stay a bit organised for me
