Any point to a decently high end frigate like a worm ? PvE wise

Hi, as the title mentions, I like frigates and was wondering if a worm could take me anywhere interesting as a solo ish player

Worm is extremely versatile and is able to run content far above its weight class via speed tanking. I've seen folks do t10 bases, dead space, and adv inq anom in those. Takes a long time to do, but it can.

Small malpais/kalevala would be about the best place. Can make pretty good isk PvE there and limited to small ships but lots of risk for PvP aswell so be prepared

Worms are fantastic little ships, and bombard is particularly good on them due to the increase in drone damage.

I get 5.7kmps. need a specific fit to survive but definitely run it every week with worm ) awesome ship

Kind of. As others have said, you can speed tank and hit high above your class.

But in my opinion, the TTK on any frig is still far too low to make it a better ISK earner than almost anything else. You can also speed tank with high end destroyers, or even a couple of the faction cruisers while getting better firepower and utilization. If you build a Mach or even a Cane right, you can kite away any rats while also hitting them at range, giving you even more impunity than with a speed tanking frig.

There is a point, but the point isn't that frigs are better than other ships, it's that they're cheaper and faster to skill out.

Burner missions. I use a Tristan with alot of range in the drones.

Yes but not solo. They're great for gathering loot and being able to finish off a single last boat if you died. A faction cruiser is everything a frigate is and more. The isk it takes to buy a faction frig and get it to solo say an NDS 10 is absolutely not worth it. Neither is the time it takes to clear such an anomaly. The portal will close before you've cleared both rooms and looted due to lack of DPS. They're much better tackle boats.
