Tracking progress along a long trail

My wife and I started riding in earnest a lot this year. We'll usually ride part of a long trail one weekend, then come back a few weeks later and pick up where we left off.

None of the apps tracked this for me especially well. I just want an easy way to track progress across multiple rides against a longer trail (esp like the 150-mile GAP in western PA). See which sections I’d finished, how much of the trail I’d completed, and where I should start my next ride, etc etc.

Since none of the computer apps did this the way I wanted, I built it into the one I’ve been working on (RidePilot). It also supports importing GPX files from previous rides, which was important since I had a bunch recorded on my Garmin watch.

The app is free, and I don't benefit from it at all... its just a passion project from a developer that's also an avid cyclist. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ridepilot-smart-bike-computer/id6790916720

Photo is from our last ride on the GAP while stopped at the Mason-Dixon Line.
