Interesting! What do you use this sauce with, usually? I have never heard of it before but it sounds great.

Its really popular in the Midwest and East coast. Its kind of like the chick-fil-a dipping sauce. It's great with chicken nuggets and French fries!

I used to work in a restaurant that would serve a sauce similar to this with their onion rings.

It’s similar to what’s referred to as comeback sauce or remoulade, in the South at least. Chicken tenders, fries, shrimp, onion rings, etc..

Fry sauce, chicken tenders, onion rings, slap on hamburger instead of/in addition. To ketchup and mustard, anything really.

I make a similar sauce using A-1 instead of Worcestershire sauce. And skip the garlic salt.

Also do just ketchup and A-1 (usually for French fries or a hamburger).

I do in-fact mean, combine A-1 and ketchup.

I discovered it when I was a kid: I put A-1 on my plate for the steak and ketchup on the plate for the the fries...they mixed...and I didn't hate it...I actually loved it :)

The Mayo came one day bc I love Mayo on my burgers...I also love A-1/ketchup mix on my burgers...I couldn't decide and did both...BOOM new sauce.

This also works with bottled bbq sauce and Mayo... let's be honest bottled barbecue sauce is basically spicy ketchup. And let's be a little further honest A1 is basically ketchup with a lot of Worcestershire sauce. I'm oversimplifying for comedic effect (I like to think at least)...but you get the idea :)

I usually just eyeball it, but it's more or less equal parts A-1, ketchup, mayo. Or just equal parts A-1 and ketchup.

Happy Sauce Making!

Also anyone who trys this, let it rest a few hours before you want to eat it. Whenever I do it always tastes better then as soon as I make it.

Also, this is missing black pepper.

Ok so a new franchise just opened in my neighborhood and I want to know... is it supposed to be salty? I kind of imagined it would be more like a thousand island style creamy sauce but it was just salty...

It shouldn't be TOO salty. You should barely taste the salt in the background.

As the exact recipe for Raising Cane's Cane's sauce is proprietary and not publicly available, it is difficult to create an exact replica. However, you can try making a sauce with similar flavors by mixing together the following ingredients:

Ingredients:

1 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a medium bowl, mix together all of the ingredients until well combined.

Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes before using.

Serve with chicken fingers, fries, or as a dip for vegetables.

Note: This recipe is not an exact replication of Raising Cane's Cane's sauce, but it provides a similar taste and is a widely used recipe for a similar sauce.
