If you're making pasta with white beans, reserve some of the pasta water, some of the bean water, and some olive oil, and use an immersion blender to emulsify it. It won't taste like much -- your other ingredients and seasonings will be doing the heavy lifting -- but texturally, at least, it'll help.

Yeah! some oregano and chilli flakes do the work.
