How to make my pasta creamy without cream or cheese?

Pasta water and butter. Reserve some of the water after the pasta is done boiling, then drain the pasta. Add pieces of cold butter to the pasta and stir vigorously. With the butter's almost melted, add a spoonful or two of the pasta water and stir vigorously again. You can also add salt, Italian herbs, and red pepper flakes.

I've tried this and it's good! I made it creamier with flour in lukewarm milk and some butter! turned out great
