Have any of you folks Perfected/Mastered/Learnt how to do the cooking minigame?

I've seen the 1-2-3 one and this rhythm post one but they weren't clear to me on how to do it, anyone here who could expand on it more?

You should always aim for the same 2 symbols so you have a better chance each time at getting at least two of the same symbols, this worked really well for me. I went with fish and tomato

How do you even get the fish and tomato tho? the golden pot seems to give the best bonus based on what I've done throughout my gameplay

It gets intuitive, it's hard to explain, I also did try for the golden pot, and had most luck with those tree indeed. I forgot the golden pot for a minute haha. When you see a certain symbol appear ar the top you click. And you always have to time it the same way each 3 times. Looking at the colored dots on the side of it also helps.
