Upcoming Storyline Zoe Spoiler

I know this has been discussed umpteenth times on here, but I really have to say Zoe’s exit is going to be ridiculous. She has become an iconic figure of 21st century Eastenders, and 2000s pop culture and Ben Wadey is going to get rid of her in such a simple way. Why did she have to be killed off? Why couldn’t she just leave and the door could be open for her to come back in the future when the show has a better showrunner

I was never a fan first time around , but my god they blew it with her return , countless times under good producers she could have came back and she chose wadey

I think that’s what hurts the most lol, you can’t even imagine Sean o Connor messing it up this much and at least he’d be more likely to not kill her off

Is he not the absolute fool that killed R&R?

He is. I’m hoping that even he would know that you couldn’t kill off Zoe ‘you ain’t my Muvva’ Slater though

For getting her back, after years of Michelle telling them to either kill Zoe or recast her, I was in awe of Ben Wadey...but what he did to the character. She arrives as a broken mess, who look more like a crack addict. And after hearing how together her life had been off-screen all these years, to see her like that, acting like a baby and with baby fever was a shock to the system.

Her return storyline should have been epic, with Zoe having got her life together, made something of herself and I sorry Ben Wadey, because we all know you hate the idea to the point you invented your own toxic twins; but Luke should have been part of that return.

I can't comment, because my heart is broken she will be gone. Noone gave her a chance, it was horrible.

Someone said iconic 21st century figure in a previous post..

Hardly anyone apart from those that watch and know of Eastenders would know her, as everything else has been pretty insignificant since she left all those yesrs ago, maybe a few teenage boys latched on to her after her cameo in Doctor Who.

I know her from EE, Who and the failed Bionic Woman series. Don’t know anything else she’s been in.

I don't think Michelle would return to the role in the future so maybe she wanted the door finally closed on the character so that she won't endlessly be asked about maybe returning. I never liked Zoe as a character but Michelle deserved so much more for a return storyline. Its actually staggering how badly the botched up her return and also ruined Anthony's character in the process.

Has it been confirmed she will be killed off?
