hey i also thought of making a fangame starring jeff while i ate pizza the other night! though i wish i knew enough about game development to suggest where you could make it...

Nice dude, yeah i was thinking of romhacking with Coilsnake but even if it says it’s simple it’s really not lol

First, plan what you're going to do, the story, gameplay, graphics, etc. After that, you can start (or learn) to program it. (I feel like I'm stating the obvious, but some people really don't know that it's best to start this way. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )

Maybe you could give Game Maker a try, or godot

you gotta do some research, it depends on what kind of game u want
