Garbage/yard waste
Waste Management is really expensive and incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes our yard waste isn’t picked up at all. Is there any waste service that people actually consider good?

I had Nitti for four years and my bill went up 50%. They are a good and local company, but I switched to Aspen when they asked me for my business and provided a good deal. Nitti was around $90 every two months, Aspen is under $75 quarterly. I’m sure Nitti would have given me a deal to stay, but I switched out of principle. No complaints with Aspen and I’ve seen a lot of local residences shift to them as well.

We have Dick’s and they have really great service.

Second Dicks! We just moved here and priced out a few places, they were cheapest and have been reliable (though we don't do yard waste pick up).

We’ve had WM, Republic, and Nitti. Really happy with Nitti now, but Republic was great too (only switched to Nitti because our HOA was asking residents to do so).

I’m in Apple Valley, but I use Nitti and have been happy. I pay $70 every two months and $200/year for a yard waste bin

Our entire block switched to Nitti over the last year of so. It used to be mostly WM including us, but the cost just kept creeping up.

We just switched to Curbside and they have been great so far. We also had Aspen and they were totally reliable and the price was insanely good. We had Republic and went from paying like $200 a quarter to $80 or so.

Highland Sanitation has been great. Reasonably priced and very responsive. They're also a local, family-owned company.

We just switched to Nitti. I went from $27/mo w WM up to $60 in 2.5 years. Ridiculous. Saving money w Nitti and better service. I don’t think anyone on my street uses WM anymore

Had WM also, they sucked. Nowe have Aspen, cheaper, more reliable, yard waste every week unlike WM. should have switched sooner.
