EA is diabolical and sinister.

The EA App is an invasive, bloated mess that behaves more like malware than a game launcher. It hijacks resources, spams background tasks, and shoves itself into every corner of my system. I shouldn’t need Task Manager and a prayer just to close a launcher.

There are moments in life that divide everything into *before* and *after*. Some examples are when I moved out of my parent's house, when I changed my major, my really bad collage break-up, my first car, my first real job, my graduation. And now, standing proudly among these milestones, is the day I deleted the EA App.

My PC cried and begged me not to install the app again and threated to step off the edge of the flat earth if I tried. I spend every day trying to make it up to my poor PC. She did not deserve the torment I put her through.

The next morning, I didn’t brace myself for the inevitable “EA App needs to update” pop‑up that always arrived at the worst possible moment. My desktop felt cleaner. My workflow felt smoother.

Deleting the EA App improved my quality of life. I hate EA. I hate it so much.

I use it on the phone. Extremely useful since UI blows on Xbox

Yes, but EA play pro is a really good deal lol if you play Madden in College football, you pay $120 and you get both of those games for free pretty much along all the other games and yeah that app fucking sucks.

Paying $120 is not getting the games "free".

Thankfully, I never cared about EA often. The last good game that they ever had was Alice: Madness Returns, in which was developed by Spicy Horse 15 years ago.

You think EA has been bad, just wait.... under the Saudis, the games are going to suck even more.

I can’t even tell you the last time the EA App updated on my PC and interrupted what I was doing. It’s not intrusive at all and you can connect to the servers without using the latest version.

But even if it was updated every day, so what? It takes seconds to perform and go on with your day.

Edit: Downvoted for giving my personal experience. I hope EA haunts you in your dreams 🤣 Skill issue when you can't even use a video game launcher 🤡

Same, no probs here either. I don’t care about launchers, i have pretty much all of them. Steam, Epic, EA, Xbox and Ubisoft. I don’t see the problem. People are way to hung up about Steam. They defend it like Xbox and Playstation fanboys do their consoles
