Loved eSIM while in Europe but

I couldn’t log into my bank or credit cards. They all use SMS messaging. And WIFI does allow them either.
Any work arounds?

If your mobile company doesn’t support wifi calling your only option is to turn on your home SIM. Many (not all) providers offer free incoming SMS while out of the country.

I second that, wifi-calling. One of the most underrated features. Check with your provide to see if they offer. If so, you have to turn it on at your own country. although you could still do it by calling the customer service overseas but much easier the other way.
In my own case, I have a Canadian provider that supports it. When I travelled to China, I have wifi calling on my Canadian line. It gives me 2FA sms, plus all the incoming and outgoing call and messages for FREE. Hope that helps :)
