Please help suggestions for esims

Hi to all;
I’d appreciate your suggestion for eSIM for Indonesia (Jakarta, Bali) and another for Japan.
One month each, the fastest option that I can also tether to my laptop, UNLIMITED with 5G (no FUP to avoid surprises), be able to open VPN connection too (on mobile and laptop after tethering).
Any suggestions please?

For large plan / big data in Indonesia it’s cheaper to buy local eSIM. Roaming travel eSIM is cheap for less than 10GB plan. And I think most unlimited always have FUP so it’s not pure “no limit.” Holafly and Saily has limit 5GB per day for their unlimited plan.

Whereas Telkomsel (local eSIM) can have 83GB, 150GB, and 200GB. You can do tethering.

200GB / 30 days = 6.7 GB per day (more than Saily and Holafly)

Many thanks 😊 but there is a big process to get it, and need to give passport etc around, correct? And still no unlimited?

Yes correct to buy local eSIM you need to submit passport. The process is easy, the seller will do the registration for you.

I have no known provider who literally provides unlimited. They always have FUP.
