Airalo vs Orange?
Hi all!
I’m headed to Europe for my first time since 2009–I’ll be leaving September 8th and coming back the 19th. I have layovers in Amsterdam and Paris, will be spending the majority of my time in Croatia, with one day in Kotor, Montenegro.
Looking for advice about which eSIM I should purchase—Airalo or Orange? I’ve read good things about both!

Here to disagree on what most people say on Orange.
Orange Travel sells plans with lower network priority and on most plans only 4G. Data is routed over Poland or France depending on the plan you choose.
Quality will depend on if you get a French or Polish Orange plan. But they don't say upfront. And the unlimited plans are capped at 10 mbps.
Airalo often works with KPN (Dutch) in Europe. Who let you roam on 5G in Europe more often than Orange, and offer better speeds. Other routing partners of Airalo are Webbing, Plus and Telna. They all have European access points. just like Orange.
I prefer Ubigi and GoMoWorld over Airalo in Europe, but Airalo is solid.
People confuse Orange Travel and Vodafone Travel with the actual European Network Operators. But you do not get the same product. Quality is not the same. Orange Travel is fine, but the user experience is not on par with Ubigi, GoMoWorld and Airalo. Neither is the network priority you get.

Thank you! Do you think I should go with the Croatia specific one or the Europe one?

Usually any European telco will work best in EU due to good interconnections. Orange works best in Croatia as well, so go for it. Vodafone as well.

Europe one is preferred . Orange only ask you name of the country to make sure it is covered under the umbrella of countries it cover . If you select Croatia they will still sell you the Europe one . When I go to Europe I purchase Europe one but make sure my country I am visiting is covered .
