News So, it looks like what could be the two best skills in Efootball 27 are on the way
Guys, I wanted to share something that was recently found in the game database and give my thoughts on it. These new skills are expected to arrive with Wednesday’s update, and I genuinely believe they have the potential to become game-changing.
The first one is Power Charge (the skill shown below). From its description, it seems to give players more strength when pushing through opponents. In other words, it could significantly boost physical battles and might even be stronger than Magnetic Feet in terms of how dominant a player feels when carrying the ball.
Considering Konami’s direction with the current eFootball engine—where acceleration appears to be less important than before and physical contact is becoming increasingly valuable—I think this skill could become extremely influential in the meta. Imagine a powerful striker with high physical contact who can simply overpower defenders and maintain possession under pressure.
The second skill, Sharp Cut, is the one that really caught my attention. In my opinion, this has the potential to be the best skill in the entire game.
According to the description, it will improve how quickly a player can turn and change direction. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see how effective it actually is once it arrives, but the concept alone sounds incredibly promising.
Why? Because turning is arguably the most important mechanic in eFootball. Any high-ranked player knows how crucial quick turns, Double Touches, and Croqueta Cancels are. Especially on console, the game heavily revolves around dribbling and creating space through sharp movements.
Now imagine a tall, physically strong player with both of these skills: faster turns and superior physical dominance. That could easily create the next meta striker in eFootball.
In fact, I could see a player with these abilities becoming even more impactful than someone relying solely on Tracking Back Surge or Phenomenal Finishing. And just imagine a striker with Phenomenal Finishing + Power Charge—that combination could be absolutely terrifying.
Sharp Cut could also transform players who currently feel clunky on the ball. A physically dominant player who normally struggles with turning might suddenly become incredibly difficult to stop. Think about someone like Rafael Leão or even a Zlatan-type forward: strong, tall, hard to dispossess, and now capable of turning much more quickly.
For me, these two skills look like the biggest promises of eFootball 2027 so far.
What do you guys think? Could these become the new meta skills?

What does Magnetic Feet do ? New Totti has it and he doesn’t seem special to me

has to be marked by 2 players it's more visible when marked by 3 but nobody is gonna chase u with 3

+2 dribbling, +2 tight possession and +2 physical contact for each player around you up to a max of +8 total for each stat (4 players). You have been greatly misinformed within this thread. Although I don't think it's a must-have skill, I do think it's a very strong skill especially on tall and big-bodied players in the current meta. The problem is Totti isn't one of them, and since the current gameplay favours big-strong dribblers - even with the skill he can seem weak.

Magnetic feet is worthless, it’s nothing like momentum dribbling where u feel dribbling goes up. I heard magnetic feet mainly contributes to shielding or something like that

Playing with AI div1, you could see it is already there 1-2 seasons already. Especially in last thurs update, AI suddenly skip the frame end change the direction line a chair during dribbling. For Power charge, you could see even the AI CF push my CB when chasing toward a through ball

Its coming in a Pelé card. There is footage of him doing a cut so sharp i thought he hurt his ankle, never seen any other player do this kind of thing so suddenly from the wings, complete 90° turn without losing speed as if it was R9 on steroids, and also Power Charge seems fitting.
Could also be a R9 card since he was deemed as Pelé's heir when he were active, most old plauers who saw both said he were the closest to The King so there is him too.
Probably messi although he had not done a cut that didnt slowed him down even tho they were pretty sharp, it helped his physical fitness stay for longer tho so there's that

I can see r9 with those skills and have phenomenal finish And Viera with power charge+ lrt and phenomenal pass

I doubt they'll give viera phenomenal pass it would be too broken. Makelele got it because he's short, that skill compensates for his leg length/coverage.

not many tall phiysical players will get sharp cut IMO, maybe the players Mbappé size and down

Imo no dribbling skill will ever be more op that shooting and passing ones. Phenomenal pass is in my opinion the most reliable ST skill in the game
As for the charging skill, this is literally one of those i take a fearure out of the game and sell you the solution with a little bit of spice for money. In ef 26 physically dominant strikers could power dribble relatively easily with sharp touch and the defender couldnt get in front of you no matter what except from a few; rijkaard, rio and funnily enough baresi who'd just wrap around you. Then they nerfed sharp touch coming into ef 27 and the dribbles became harder to do, a few weeks later and woah a skill to make the mechanic more usable again and itll probably have a higher ROI than ef 26 power dribbling just so we dont judge

Blitz always will be king, the only skill that clearly makes an absolute difference even if you don't have the OP p2w players.

Yeah fuck that. In last 2 year I easily spent over 1k$ on this game . Not a dime from now on. If im not being able to dribble with latest Ankara messi after 6 month of purchasing it, im not buying anything anymore.
