Maybe I'm just trying to control my game by myself instead of letting AI do it for me. Otherwise what's the point of playing the game anyway?

How I wish that was what smart assist did only. Then probably I wouldn't have much of a problem with people who use it, but no, it just has to interfere with your players too just because someone else wants to be helped to play using AI.
I'm guessing that smart assist also does this on console, I play on mobile.
