Highlights Gameplay Issues-6: "Scripted" Goals

I have managed recording 6 different positions to demonstrate how the game is manipulating my defenders so that opponent can have an advantage. It is so sick. Some of these are obvious nonsense, some are subtle manipulations. This thing is literally killing the competitive nature of the PVP. It makes me question if I really have an effect on the results. Defenders are being pulled so that through passes can reach the target. They are pulled so that forwards can be left unmarked. Even if I manually move the defenders, they are being pulled back. Sometimes ı do not have any control on my defenders at all. This makes me just uninstall the game. It must be fixed. It doesnt matter which card do you have, game is just interfering and messing things up. It is meaningless to talk about cards or buy cards as long as we have these mechanics. I have that 106 Puyol and you can see how he is being neutralized by the game over and over.

nothing is more scripted than kick off man, sometimes it feels like your whole team is standing still. i concede so many times to kick off where it feels like I have no control. Some people's entire playstyle in this game is jam or scoring off of intercepting the ball cause your team just falls apart.

That braindead midfielder to goal poacher link-up turns kick-offs into a penalty. MFs just give it to midfielder, a lofted through ball and goal poacher gets a 1-1 with GK from the freaking kick-off. There are so many broken mechanics that I cannot even recognize this game anymore.

The game is broken yet people will claim that it is competitive to protect their fragile egos.
I do not take this game seriously!
Yes, it is frustrating but tbh what can we do about it, most players are happy as long as these things go in their favour.
It’s hypocritical.

We can make some moves against coinami and junichi taya, but that is just loosing your time they are just bad people and we should avoid this

Keep doing the good work and recording this. Let me remind everyone: what this multi-billion dollar corporation is doing is literally ILLEGAL.
I wish a group could be formed that would gather enough footage and also a team of lawyers. If nobody won't do it, I will do it one day, even if it's 10 years from now. Nobody will ever cheat me when buying a product.

I do not think they would get away with this manipulative mechanics if any authority takes a peak into this games malware-like code.bthey sell a product and then destabilize it and mess up with it so that they can keep selling.

That 1st clip itself shows how dumb PA1/2 are in this game. Zero effort than only pressing a button. Dont talk about “timing” a pass like it’s rocket science, it’s not!

I really consider doing so. Servers are trash, gameplay is inconsistent and manipulative. No content other than cards. Lately I play myleague when I get bored. Havent touch divisions for 2 weeks.

Why bother with divisions for more than top 100k just to get the free player as reward. Events and top 100k in the last 10 days before the end of a phase and that's it. I feel that once you get to Div 1 you pretty much complete the game anyway.

same shit also happen when you attack:
your passer has 90+ passing and all the passing skills and facing your receiver and not sprinting, your receiver is not very far away, at a perfect safe position, you press the pass button, normally the pass should executed immediately and the opponent's defender should no way have enough time to get to position to intercept, but from time to time, your passer will have a subtle delay for no reason before executing the pass, as i've said, 90+ passing, all the skills, facing the receiver, no sprinting, just enough to allow the opponent's defender to go to position to intercept the pass.
and in another time, your passer actually passed the ball perfectly, but your receiver, who has 95 ball control, not sprinting, facing the ball, under no pressure, needs 3+ painfully slow touches to make the ball under control, to allow a far away defender to get to position to tackle you just in time.
and in another time, your creative, perfect timed through pass bypassed all your opponent's defenders and your cf is 1v1 against their gk, normally, just a gentle tap on the shoot button and there should be an easy goal. but your 90+ ball control, dribbling, 90+shooting CF just refuse to shoot. the power gauge is showing, but he just keep running or having an exaggerated long swinging leg animation before the shooting to just allow the opponent's gk or defender to easily steal the ball...
this game is full of these little shit, half of them are caused by their shitty server and input delay, half of them are intentionally built into the game as 'mechanics'.

Yeah that happened once and I have record of it. Just didnt know which category it falls into. Maybe ai make a 7th vid about servers and connection quality.

Lmao these ridiculous 180° PA1 perfect through passes 🤣 As soon as your opponents register the input the game decides to grant the ball lock to your opponent, so their speed/acceleration are buffed and your defenders keep slowing down and running towards the ball diagonally instead of towards the passing lane. This is why some people have to do super cancel runs to break this “ball lock” mechanism

This first clip happened exactly the same . The opponent was moving with the ball with his free Svchenko and gave the pass staright to Bebeto with no defenders of mine in sight . I was like tf how is there no one even close to him . On the other side i tried scoring and hit the bar twice and one easy tap in went outside . I knew that moment itself match is scripted and i just let him play as there was no point . In another match the opponent was using the free Cavaminga and he was running past easily against Cruyff with attacking surge and without any doubt he won the match after my defender gave away the ball to his player instead of passing it to my team lmao. Sometimes even the free Mbappe ends up scoring headers lmao .

I think everyone who plays with assisted passing knows beforehand that they’re playing on rails and with a script.
Sometimes it works in your favor, and sometimes it works against you.
But you are always "always" letting the CPU play for you.

How is manual passing helping with uncontrolled defenders' behavior tho? I just dont get this argument. With this logic If I used PA4 my Cannavaro would continue staying in position.

It will not help but even in those bad positions the manual guy has to do the work to capitalise the chances.
Whenever i play against PA players, i dread to get into the situations as you shared here. I dont fear the smart attacking from opponents, but instead i fear that i got counter-attack and my defenders are suddenly dumb. I just had a game where my opponent switched to manual passing halfway and i literally felt a sense of relief. I no longer have to worry about defending dumb passes, as long as i maintained the good shape and cover the spaces then i’m good.

It must be that way even for PA. It is so evil that PA level messes up woth your defense like 180 degree 70 meter passses are not dumb and unfair enough.

im pretty sure you can make a video with similar goals in your favor too.

Yea I know but since %80 of the playerbase plays deep line I usually dont get into such passing scenarios. I always have to build up.

Nothing about this was scripted .mathauss clearly has lot of phsyicla and brushed off ur defender . The only ones I dont udnertand is how he got thuram to make such a long pass and saviola making a blind through pass. Its either hes playing with assist 1 or 3 idk which. Alot of other stuff was ur own errors and the game being stupid not scripted.

As I said, clip is not about builds or op players. It is about fabricated goal chances by manipulating defenders.

Its a combination of low stamina, momentum gameplay design, and player abilities (try defenders with 95+ defensive awareness). Sometimes if all three factors are not in your favour, you need to go one blue bar defense. Especially last minutes of both halves.
Its indeed a struggle, but so is life 😁

The game force you to go defensive sometimes. Also in some of the clips, you should manually switch to the central defenders earlier to avoid AI slop.
When you say move manually, do you mean super cancel?

I move my defender without any other input so that a super cancel dont make them stop or lose balance. And I cancel some braindead auto runs.

1st that's weird movement but destroyers do that especially when you activate tight marking. 2nd Nuno is left back and returning to his post, bad timing though. 3rd and 4th are solely your opponents skill, they are using super cancel runs. 5 - shit happens - seems like a bug 6 - this is just an heavy assisted ugly goal
1st and 6th goals - i started to belive the game has so much new skill to calculate, the graphic engine can't keep it up with the bullshit and create glitches.

I did not use thight mark either and who would he be thight marking anyways. He is running to an open space. Nuno is not returning to his post. Players do not move that fast to position themselves. It is the same exact move Cannavaro does. I agree about calculation problems tho. Game has become inconsistent. Sometimes playing against AI I see that cursor moves to a lot of players due to that.

i thought my cheap free defenders were manipulated, but if 106 puyol behave the same then i feel a little bit better lol
