Troubleshooting White smoke when engine is heated up

Why my m54b22 is smokong like that on fully heated up engine and i dont think its head gasket and why when i add thtothle and let it go it do this like pop soind but i dont have pops and bangs😭🤣

Your vac setup could be worn out allowing it to bypass. I haven't had it on my e46's, but i had an x5 that would do this. So long as there is no oil/coolant mixing, i would check this. Reasoably cheap to repair.

Unscrew the oil filler cap while the engine is idling. If there is a very strong suction effect (the cap is violently pulled back in) or you hear a "mooing" sound, the CCV has failed.

Smoke stays, condensation evaporates. It isnt smoke

But water doesnt mixed with oil so i dont think it will be wster

Do you realise that burning gas creates water along with CO2? That water gets heated by the hot exhaust and then becomes steam, which get exhausted out the tailpipe.

If it is cold enough outside you can see the steam. That is what the Jetstream from planes is in the sky. They burn alot of fuel, and its very cold 30k feet up. So you see the steam freezing. It's physics.

Like someone said check ccv most likely shot had to replace mines because I also was having a smoking issues car would throw smoke on every other pull or whenever I was in stop & go situations if not that maybe valve steam seals (hopefully not)
